The following is the official obituary of Melinda Marie Breaz Superville, who’s body was found recently by volunteers of Texas EquuSearch.
An Excerpt from the statement:
MELINDA MARIE BREAZ SUPERVILLE’S spirit was liberated on December 2, 2005 due to an accidental overdose. She was 43. A 35 year resident of Houston, Melinda was born in Gary, Indiana on April 20, 1962. She graduated from Northbrook High School in 1980 and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1985 from Texas Chiropractic College. She was also a certified Acupuncturist. Melinda embraced a universalist outlook of the world where no lines were drawn in regard to humanity we are all one people. Her mission in life was to holistically heal others, not only through the strength of her hands and vast knowledge of alternative modes of treatment, but especially from her generous heart.
(the full obituary)
I find this really strange that the first comments in the obituary are referencing an accidental overdose. Especially when there has been no confirmation by the ME as to the cause of death.
It would seem odd as well to reference such a thing as the first statement as well even if this may ever be stated officially to be the case. Normally one does not just come out and make such a statement in a case of a suicide. Something just doesn’t seem right.
We will have to wait for the ME’s findings and hear from the family regarding their thoughts of Melinda Superville’s passing.
Rest in Peace, Melinda and out prayers go out to her family.

This was posted on Nate’s sister myspace. So the search apparently has been underway for approx. 2 hours now. And this post indicates that the Park is near the Mall where Nate’s car was found the other day. This park is 7800 acres and adjacent to a reservoir and also contains ponds.
You can access the park directory here

There are some truly sick and twisted people in this world. If it is not enough that Tim Miller, founder of Texas EquuSearch lost his daughter Laura in 1984 as she was murdered. Now Tim Miller receives a sick letter stating to be from the last person to see his daughter alive.
Someone sent a chilling note to a Houston-are man who runs an organization that helps find missing people, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.
The note Miller received, which was made up of words cut from newspapers and magazines, claimed to be from the last person to see Laura Miller alive.
Authorities and Miller said the letter could be a trick.
The letter was sent five months after the death of one of the murder suspects.
Many believe that Robert Abel was allegedly responsible for the murder of Laura Miller. If you are not familiar with the story, read here.
Robert Abel was one of the alleged prime suspects in the abduction and murder of Tim Miller’s daughter along with the 3 other victims found on Calder Rd back in the 80’s.
Upon receiving the note made up of words cut from newspapers and magazines, Tim Miller and authorities said it could be a trick. If this is, there are some extremely deranged people who would do such a thing. To a man who has suffered the pain of losing a daughter and dedicating his live to other families with missing persons so that they might have closure.
Any one that would send such a note has some serious issues. This would be an act that would truly be much more deserving of burning in hell.

There have been no new developments in the search for missing 12-year-old Teketria Buggs which prompted Darryl Phillips of the Texas EquuSearch Mounted Search and Recovery Team on Sunday night to called off the full-force active search for the missing girl.
“Last night we called a meeting and talked with the family to let them know we were going to stop the search,” Phillips said. “But we’re still out here evaluating what we did and what we need to do to see if we’ve missed anything. We’ve just stepped aside for now, and we’re waiting until more information comes in that we could look into.”
However, according to EquuSearch this does not signify the end of the search but only a chance to regroup and weigh their options. They still plan to put boats in the water and await any further leads to investigate.
Phillips said although the ground search has slowed down, the team still plans on putting boats back in the water on Tuesday to continue searching for Buggs, and a few teams on four-wheelers will be out searching the area Monday.
“We haven’t been able to find anything. Right now, we’re just playing it by ear and following any leads that may come in,” Phillips said.

12-year-old Teketria Buggs is still missing as searches have come up empty in recent days. It is reported that the sheriff will be withdrawing his deputies at this time due to lack of leads. Its appears that future searches will be left up to volunteers to continue.
However, Sheriff Milton Wright reportedly is withdrawing deputies from the search because the manpower is needed elsewhere.
That leaves the search for the missing girl in the hands of volunteers, led by non-profit search-and-rescue members of EquuSearch Texas, members of the Orchard Volunteer Fire Department and residents of the community.
Due to these actions, Texas EquuSearch has put out a call to arms for volunteers to please help and search for the missing Teketria Buggs .
The development has prompted EquuSearch to ask for volunteers to help search beginning Saturday morning. Especially needed are people with horses and four-wheel-drive vehicles, said EquuSearch spokeswoman Barbara Gibson of Houston.
Anyone who can help comb the rural area is urged to “bundle up really good” against the weather and meet at the Orchard Volunteer Fire Department, a block east of State Highway 36 in Orchard, Gibson said. Searchers have assembled at 8 each weekday morning, but Gibson was unsure if the search will begin that early on Saturday.
“The volunteer fire department has really put in the hours,” she said. “Those are some incredible people right there.”

Authorities are calling off their search for the missing Ft. Bend County girl, 12-year-old Teketria Buggs . They’ve been looking for the 12-year-old Teketria Buggs of Orchard, who was last seen late Friday night.
A dive team with the Texas Department of Public Safety spent much of Friday in the water of the Brazos River — one of two locations where cadaver dogs picked up some sort of scent earlier this week.
“You will probably find something,” said Ft. Bend County Sheriff Milton Wright. “It won’t necessarily be a human body, but there will be something there.”
But on Friday, they didn’t find anything. Teketria was last seen alive a week ago Friday just a few miles from the river in a home in Orchard. She left behind her cell phone and purse.
With no new leads authorities stated that they will not be able to use their resources to search for Teketria.
So with no new leads, Sheriff Wright says his deputies will no longer be used in the physical search for Teketria. That will be left now to Equusearch and its volunteers.
“Basically, our backs are up against the wall,” said Darryl Phillips with Equusearch.
(full story)
If you’ve seen Teketria Buggs, call the Ft. Bend County Sheriff’s Department at 281-341-4665.
Sheriff’s detectives are still working this missing persons case. If you have any information that might help them, please call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.

Body found near where doctor disappeared
“I’m glad that we found her because we needed the closure for her family,” said family friend Susan Haass. “I can’t describe how I feel about her being found like this. It’s worst case scenario. We’ve probably all had a feeling because it’s been a week.”
On Friday, her brother refused to talk to reporters and her husband did not come to the scene. At the moment, police aren’t confirming the body is that of Dr. Superville, although they say it appears to be her.
