- He was last seen wearing a blue-and-green striped shirt (or no shirt) with blue denim shorts and no shoes.

Authorities believe that Trenton Duckett is in danger. It is believed that Trenton was taken through his bedroom window.
Investigators said they’re very concerned, and the FBI has been called in to help search for the boy.
Detectives said they think Trenton was taken through his bedroom window. Investigators said they also found signs of forced entry into the apartment.
“When we were checking out the area, it was discovered that at least one entry point of the apartment has some signs of tampering. I can’t really go into too many details about that, but that did lead us to be extremely cautious regarding foul play or something of that nature in this case,” Leesburg Police Department Capt. Steve Rockefeller said.

UPDATE I: (8/29/06) Police still hunt for missing boy
LEESBURG — Police were still searching late Monday for a 2-year-old boy reportedly abducted from his bedroom during the weekend.
The boy is the grandson of James Duckett, the former Mascotte police officer who is on death row for raping, strangling and drowning an 11-year-old girl, according to Jeanne Bragg, a longtime family friend. That crime occurred in 1987, and he was convicted in 1988. The Florida Supreme Court upheld the conviction in October.
Family members said the boy’s parents, Melinda and Joshua Duckett, both 21 years old, had been fighting for custody of the child. The couple filed for divorce in June and live in separate cities, according to court records.
Last month, Melinda Duckett requested a restraining order against her estranged husband.
In her petition for injunction, she said she received an e-mail from Joshua Duckett in July, threatening to hurt her and Trenton, court records said. Her petition stated “Joshua would hunt my son and I [Melinda] down and that he will bury my son with me.”

The San Francisco police need people’s help in finding a 5 months old missing girl who went missing Sunday night.
The baby’s father told police that he was parked near 18th and Mission streets around 7:30 p.m. and left his child in his car while he went inside a store.
After returning to his vehicle, he began driving away, police reported, and noticed the baby was gone.
The 5-month-old girl weighs about 15 pounds, has black hair and was last seen wearing a pink dress.

Toddler Snatched From SF Automobile
A citywide manhunt was underway Monday for a missing 5-month-old girl who was taken from the front seat of the family car after her father ran into a Mission District store.

UPDATE (8/29/06): Rescue dogs hunt for missing baby 5-month-old girl apparently taken from father’s car
Police have brought in rescue dogs to help search for a 5-month-old girl who reportedly disappeared from her father’s car in San Francisco’s Mission District when he went into a corner store to buy cigarettes.
The girl’s father, 24-year-old Anthony Demone Theard, told police he parked his car — a 2002 silver Cadillac Seville — on the 3400 block of 18th Street near Mission Street at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
(San Francisco Chronicle)
Why was Anthony Demone Theard in this area in the first place where his daughter went missing? So you don’t think leaving your child in a car so one can go and score some crack cocaine has anything to do with your 5 month old missing? Think again. Would your daughter be missing if you had stayed home? There are consequences to actions.
Theard has a criminal record for pimping and pandering and admitted to police that he had been at 24th and Mission streets earlier Sunday evening looking for crack cocaine, but had been unsuccessful in finding it. “That has nothing to do with why my daughter is missing,” he said.
UPDATE: Body of missing infant found in SF park
The tragic but all too common end came to the case of missing 5 month old Camille Ferguson early this morning as her body was found in a remote section of a San Francisco park.
The body of a 5-month-old girl who had been missing since Sunday was found early this morning in a remote area of San Francisco’s John McLaren Park, and the infant’s father is a suspect in her death, police said.
Anthony Demone Theard, the baby’s father is said to be a suspect in Camille Ferguson’s death; however, he has not been charged. Theard was taken into custody Tuesday on an unrelated parole violation.
Theard has a criminal record for pimping and pandering and admitted to police that he had been at 24th and Mission streets earlier Sunday evening looking for crack cocaine, but had been unsuccessful in finding it.
“That has nothing to do with why my daughter is missing,” he said.

Missing 5 Month Old’s Body Found In Park, Father Led Police to Baby’s Body
San Francisco police say the suspect in the baby’s death is the father. Police sources tell ABC7 he led authorities to the body of little Camille Ferguson in a remote area of McLaren Park early this morning, north of the Cow Palace.
The father was the one who told police an elaborate kidnapping story. But early this morning police say he brought them to MacLaren Park and showed them where her body was.
Five-month-old Camille Ferguson’s father told everyone his baby was snatched right out of the front seat of his car Sunday night while he was inside a convenience store, and everyone bought his story.

3-year-old Marcus Fiesel has been missing since Tuesday.
Marcus was last seen Tuesday afternoon in Juilfs Park in Anderson Township. His foster mother, Liz Carroll, had a health problem, blacked out and lost track of the boy.
(Cincinnati Enquirer)
The Search for Marcus Fiesel, who is a developmentally disabled boy, has been called off after days of searching that included a helicopter, dive teams and hundreds of volunteers, a fire official stated.
Authorities will continue to investigate the disappearance of Marcus Fiesel by following up on any leads that arise, said Fred Buop, battalion chief of the Anderson Township fire department. Some scattered volunteers continued looking on Saturday, despite authorities ending their search late Friday night. “We are absolutely just flabbergasted. We have no idea what could’ve happened at this point,” Buop said.

Authorities have stated, “This kid literally vanished – no evidence, no leads, nothing,”
Missing Boy’s Foster Family Moves Out
Why does this not look like a good sign? Sudden actions by family members in such cases seldom do.
Just five days after their three-year-old foster son went missing, the family of a still unaccounted for Marcus Fiesel has “moved” from their Union Township home. Marcus Fiesel went missing in Anderson Township’s Juilfs Park Tuesday after his foster mother allegedly suffered a medical emergency there.
Neighbors of the foster family told 9News that Liz Carroll, the foster mother, has been released from the hospital. Neighbors also told 9News the family left their rented home on Valleywood Drive Saturday night with many of their possessions. One neighbor claims they looked to be in a hurry as they moved out.

Vigil Held For Missing Foster Child
Almost a week after three-year-old Marcus Fiesel went missing in an Anderson Township park in Hamilton County, a candlelight vigil was held at a park in his own hometown in Butler County.
It was at Jacot Park in Middletown that many people were holding out hope that the little boy is still alive.

Raven Jeffries, 7, last was seen August 4, 2006 when her older brother saw her leave their Detroit home. Her body was found three days later so badly burned that DNA tests were needed for recognition.
DETROIT — DNA testing confirmed the identity of a burned body found in a field as a missing 7-year-old girl, authorities said Monday.
“There is more than one suspect,” she said. “We’re not focusing just on one person, and any alleged motive depends on the suspect we’re talking about.”

6 year old Jabriel Eason who is autistic has been missing since Sunday evening in Macon, GA. About 45 fire, police and emergency management officials combed the woods and streets near the area of the apartment complex Sunday.
A 6-year-old Macon boy was missing late Sunday, with fire officials dragging the lake behind Crystal Lake Apartments on Chambers Road and a helicopter set to join the search after 11:30 p.m., officials said.
Jabriel Eason, who is autistic and does not communicate, was last seen by his mother about 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
“When I woke up, I called for him,” his mother, Octavia Ammons, said. “He didn’t answer this time.”
Ammons said she had blocked the front door with her sofa so that her son could not get outside while she napped, but Jabriel had moved the couch out of the way.

A 20-hour search for a missing 6-year-old autistic boy ended in tragedy Monday when his body was found by searchers in a lake near his home.
Eason was already dead when searchers found him. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones pronounced Eason dead at 10:30 a.m. He said a Monday autopsy ruled the death an accidental drowning and revealed no injuries to the body.

The Levi’s Call issued on Friday evening for a 4-year-old girl missing, and thought to be abducted after her mother was found dead in Norcross, was canceled early Saturday morning.

According to Gwinnett County Police, they stopped the vehicle on Buford Highway near Langford Road in Norcross.

As police commanded the driver to exit the vehicle, the male abductor pulled a hand gun and shot himself, committing suicide. The girl was unharmed. A fitting and safe end to a terrible ordeal.

Police search for pedophile, Peter Robert Joseph Whitmore, 35, of Morinville, Alberta after boy goes missing. How many offenses do those that are charged with sex crimes have to commit before they are deemed unfit to live in society? Canada has the same issues as does the United States.
WHITEWOOD, Sask. – Police in Western Canada were desperately searching Monday for a 10-year-old Saskatchewan boy allegedly abducted by a notorious pedophile who’s been jailed several times for sexual crimes against children.
RCMP issued a Canada-wide warrant for Peter Robert Joseph Whitmore, of Chilliwack, B.C., after Zachary Miller, a red-headed 10-year-old from Whitewood,Sask., was reported missing.

Peter Robert Joseph Whitmore, 35, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after vanishing from the small farming community of Whitewood in southeastern Saskatchewan on Sunday evening.

11-year-old Katie Jean Krauth has been reported missing and taken from her home in Northwood, Iowa. A missing child alert has been issued.
Bogle says they have few other details. He says the child was taken from her mother and they’re working with local and Minnesota authorities to try and locate her. Bogle says the girl was taken from her home in Northwood around 1:43 a-m in a White Mercury Marquee four-door car. He says they don’t know who took the girl.
Bogle says they have not issued a nationwide Amber Alert, but it is something they will consider. Bogle says they’re trying to “firm up some additional information” so they have the proper information if they issue an Amber Alert.
(Radio Iowa)

-
five-foot-two inches tall

UPDATE: Missing Northwood girl found Safe
The Iowa Department of Public Safety says a missing Northwood girl has been found and is safe in Minnesota.
As the investigation progressed, investigators determined Katie Krauth was located safe with friends of Barb Krauth in Austin, Minnesota and is currently in the custody of Agents of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
A news release from the Iowa D-C-I says at this time in the investigation, it appears Barb Krauth made an erroneous report to law enforcement. The investigation continues and investigators will consult with the Worth County Attorney to determine if criminal charges against Barb Krauth are warranted.

Report of missing girl apparently false, mother faces charges
With all the missing persons cases that exist out there the last thing that law enforcement needs are false reports. That seems to be the case in the report that 11 year old Katie Jean Krauth was missing. It would seem her mother filed an erroneous missing persons report.
Saunders says it’s not clear why the mother apparently field the false report.
He says investigators still don’t know exactly why and how the report was made, and he says they used a lot of resources finding the girl and are just glad she was found safe.
Saunders says while fifteen law enforcement agencies from Iowa and Minnesota took time and manpower to participate, the release of a public alert did turn up information on the child’s whereabouts. Saunders says information started coming in from friends of the family who heard officers might be looking for the girl. He says at the time they got the first information, they went with it as the information seemed important to release since the girl’s whereabouts were unknown. Saunders says as the investigation continued, “It would appear that this information was erroneous.”
