Authorities believe that Trenton Duckett is in danger. It is believed that Trenton was taken through his bedroom window.

Investigators said they’re very concerned, and the FBI has been called in to help search for the boy.

Detectives said they think Trenton was taken through his bedroom window. Investigators said they also found signs of forced entry into the apartment.

“When we were checking out the area, it was discovered that at least one entry point of the apartment has some signs of tampering. I can’t really go into too many details about that, but that did lead us to be extremely cautious regarding foul play or something of that nature in this case,” Leesburg Police Department Capt. Steve Rockefeller said.

UPDATE I: (8/29/06) Police still hunt for missing boy

LEESBURG — Police were still searching late Monday for a 2-year-old boy reportedly abducted from his bedroom during the weekend.

The boy is the grandson of James Duckett, the former Mascotte police officer who is on death row for raping, strangling and drowning an 11-year-old girl, according to Jeanne Bragg, a longtime family friend. That crime occurred in 1987, and he was convicted in 1988. The Florida Supreme Court upheld the conviction in October.

Family members said the boy’s parents, Melinda and Joshua Duckett, both 21 years old, had been fighting for custody of the child. The couple filed for divorce in June and live in separate cities, according to court records.

Last month, Melinda Duckett requested a restraining order against her estranged husband.

In her petition for injunction, she said she received an e-mail from Joshua Duckett in July, threatening to hurt her and Trenton, court records said. Her petition stated “Joshua would hunt my son and I [Melinda] down and that he will bury my son with me.”

Searchers Recover Items That May Belong to Missing Hiker Jon Francis

Jon Francis, 24, has been missing since July 15 when he left left a Bible camp to hike the 10,000-foot Grand Mogul, but never returned. A search party may have found possible items belonging to Jon Francis during a search of Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains.

Family members said they doubt the connection because the items don’t match a photograph of Francis taken the day he disappeared.

“At this point, it’s a recovery search, unless a miracle happens and he’s still alive,” Francis’ oldest sister, Robin Francis said. “We want to find out what happened and find him.”

John Mark Karr DNA not a match in JonBenet Ramsey murder … hoax, fake … fraud

With all the questionable statements and comments that have come from John Mark Karr John Karr 1since he confessed to the murder of of JonBenet Ramsey, it was not that much of a surprise when the DNA results came back negative. According to reports, the “DNA sample taken from John Mark Karr is not a match with the foreign DNA found on JonBenet Ramsey’s body when she was murdered in 1996.”

Denver – Two sources have confirmed that the DNA sample taken from John Mark Karr is not a match with the foreign DNA found on JonBenet Ramsey’s body when she was murdered in 1996.

Samples of Karr’s saliva and hair were taken in Boulder, CO after his arrival on Thursday. Those samples were tested over the weekend inside the Denver Police Department’s Crime lab.

JonBenet was covered in a blanket when her body was found. Foreign hair fibers were found on that blanket and they did not match any of the Ramsey family or approximately 100 people.

After all this, the DA in Boulder, CO is not going to file charges. What a mighty expensive plane ticket to get John Karr back to Colorado for nothing. Next time the Boulder DA may want to ask the family where a potential suspect may have been before they jump the gun. It is actually amazing that it appears all the DA had was a confession. A confession for and obsessed individual that gets off on murder cases of young girl.

Karr is scheduled to be in court Monday afternoon for an advisement hearing.

Charges related to the JonBenet case are not being filed in Colorado but California may file. Boulder, CO could file different charges for Karr however.

(San Francisco Chronicle)

Why was Anthony Demone Theard in this area in the first place where his daughter went missing? So you don’t think leaving your child in a car so one can go and score some crack cocaine has anything to do with your 5 month old missing? Think again. Would your daughter be missing if you had stayed home? There are consequences to actions.

Theard has a criminal record for pimping and pandering and admitted to police that he had been at 24th and Mission streets earlier Sunday evening looking for crack cocaine, but had been unsuccessful in finding it. “That has nothing to do with why my daughter is missing,” he said.
