Edwin Sanchez Gonzales, 2, and Gonzales’ father, Jorge Sanchez Aguilera, in connection with the disappearance.
SILER CITY, N.C. — Authorities are investigating whether a sport utility vehicle found in Gaston County is the one that might have been carrying a 2-year-old who was taken from his Siler City home early Sunday.
An FBI spokesman told WRAL Sunday night that they are investigating whether the vehicle is the one Jorge Sanchez Aguilera, 29, was traveling in when he allegedly took his son, Edwin Sanchez Gonzales, at gunpoint during a home invasion robbery. (WRAL)
Aguilera is believed to be traveling in a 1998 burgundy Ford Expedition with possible North Carolina license plate numbers SWR-3253 or VRZ-3641. He might be headed to South Carolina, where he has relatives, authorities said.

There are no hero’s in this story. Both Melinda and Josh Duckett should both be ashamed of themselves. Melinda is now dead of an apparent suice and Josh Duckett goes on TV and plays the adoring concerned dad. If both Josh and Melinda actually cared about Trenton Duckett and not themselves, maybe Trenton would not be missing or worse.
During his first two years of life, Trenton has been shuffled back and forth between his parents, his paternal grandmother, his maternal great-grandparents and into foster care. (WESH)
Is it possible by an act of God that maybe someone took this child away from all of these individuals to make a better life for Trenton Duckett? One can hope, pray and dream.
As the search for Trenton Duckett continues, information comes from the family courts as to what had transpired between the two parents and Trenton Duckett. Like with any terrible marriage and divorce between two adults, the child is always pout in the middle. The marriage and subsequent divorce of Melinda and Josh Duckett was no different. Trenton Duckett was and is the only innocent party in this entire matter and is the only one without blame. The court records were released and as usual both parents should be ashamed of themselves for using their child as a pawn. Its always the innocent that suffer the most.
Records: Experts critical of parents Court-ordered evaluation says Ducketts were unfit, another saw child as pawn
Judge reviewing DCF files involving Trenton Duckett
Doesn’t this sound rather familiar in the sad life of Trenton Duckett? On the day that the judge decides to have a hearing, Josh Duckett is off to NYC to appear on TV. If both Josh and Melinda made the situation about Trenton, maybe none of this would ever have happened.
On Wednesday, Hallman agreed with Sentinel attorney Susan Bunch, who argued that the public interest in Trenton Duckett’s DCF case outweighed his individual privacy rights.
DCF does not object to the release of the records in question, said Tim Bottcher, an agency spokesman. He said DCF officials suspect a public release of the records may help investigators determine what happened to Trenton.
Joshua Duckett, the boy’s father, did not appear at the hearing. He was on his way to New York City to appear on television and make another national plea in the search for his son.
But on Tuesday Joshua Duckett told the Sentinel he wants the DCF records revealed to the public.
“There’s stuff in there that should be released,” he said Tuesday. “In my eyes, they [DCF] screwed up. They were passing Trenton back and forth between the families.” (Orlando Sentinel)

The following is the suicide note that Melinda Duckett was to have wrote prior to her taking her life.
Could it be that Trenton Duckett is still alive? From Melinda Duckett’s suicide note:
“He was and always will be my essence and as he grows, I want him to know that.”
VIDEO
Police say one note they found with her was addressed directly to the public.
“Public:
I’m sorry this is short. Usually I plan things out and am better with my writing.
Your focus came off of my son. I love him and only wanted him safe in my arms. You created rumors and twisted words. Usually I am strong and what others say does not affect me. However I am young, have worked my [explicative] off and still being faced with ridicule and criticism.
I only wish you do not push anyone else. I do not bleed my emotions to the public and throughout this situation you did not understand that. There were many more errors you made in understanding me, but time is short and I have more important people to speak to.”
Police say there was also a second note, which appeared to be a continuation of the first.
“There are so many people I would write to if I could and had the time. This is a last minute idea, but I have felt myself sinking after one week mark of Trent[on] being gone. I love him dearly and he is all I was breathing for. He was and always will be my essence and as he grows, I want him to know that.
I have refrained from any negative comments in the hopes that individuals will realize their wrongdoings. Thank you for your time.” (Central Florida News)

It turns out that Melinda Duckett did write a suicide note before she killed herself with a shotgun in her grandparents home.
VIDEO (Prime suspect)
In the letter addressed to the public, Duckett, 21, spoke of her love for her missing 2-year-old son, Trenton, and the anguish she felt at being “faced with ridicule and criticism” as rumors swirled about her role in his Aug. 27 disappearance. Thursday, investigators named her the “prime suspect” in the case.
After completing the unsigned two-page letter, she left it on the dashboard of her car and later took a shotgun and killed herself in a closet at her grandparents’ home in Lady Lake.
Melinda Duckett went on to say that the attention came off her son and on her. Obviously this was a troubled women.
“I’m sorry this is short,” Duckett wrote in her letter. “Usually I plan things out and am better with my writing. Your focus came off of my son. I love him and only wanted him safe in my arms. You created rumors and twisted words.”
One really has to wonder what the police were doing in this investigation. The idea that they had obtained the toddlers toys in the garbage and that they focussed on Melinda Duckett as the primary suspect, yet never arresting her is puzzling. Knowing that she has previously attempted suicide and had some issues, they let her remain free. They lost their number one witness and suspect with one shotgun blast.
Police said they could have arrested Duckett within four days of her son’s disappearance and more than a week before she killed herself, but they chose not to in hopes that she would lead them to the toddler.
Investigators began following Duckett and considered using other surveillance techniques, but the young mother shot herself before police could get her to cooperate. (Buffalo News)
Leesburg police release more evidence in Duckett case
The note apparently left by Melinda, which was undated and unsigned, was addressed simply to “Public” and appeared to place the blame for her suicide on the media. Later in the note, Melinda wrote that the decision to take her own life was one she made quickly and without much thought.
Investigators said they retrieved the note from the dashboard of Melinda’s car during a search following her Sept. 8 suicide. (The Village Daily Sun)

No sign of missing two-year-old
Kevin Brown disappeared from his front yard around 8 p.m. Thursday. Search dogs detected his scent on the family’s property, but were unable to trace it further.
Kevin Brown was playing with his 4-year-old brother when the brother was bitten by fire ants and went inside, Johnson County sheriff Cpl. Pam Jetsel said. The parents were treating the ant bites with medicine inside the house while Kevin played outside. When the parents went to look for him, the toddler was gone. (WFAA)

This story defies all sense of reality and offends the all conscious thought. A woman has been arrested for killing her cousin and cutting her cousin’s child from her womb. The murdered woman’s children are also missing: 7 year old DeMond, 3 year old Ivan and 2 year old Jinela.
Police sources said a child was cut from the womb of a woman whose body was found behind an East St. Louis home Thursday.
Police have arrested the victim’s cousin for the murder. She was taken into custody late Thursday night.
Friday morning, police announced they were looking for three children last seen with the suspect. They were searching part of Frank Holten State Park for the children.
The missing children are 7 year old DeMond, 3 year old Ivan and 2 year old Jinela. The suspect is not the mother of the missing children. Police did not issue an Amber Alert for the children, but they told NewsChannel 5 they are concerned because the children are missing and were last seen with a woman now accused of killing her cousin and cutting her cousin’s child from her womb.

Woman Questioned About Killing Mother, Stealing Fetus; Victim’s 3 Kids Missing
A 26-year-old woman who police called a “person of interest” was in police custody Friday. Local FOX affiliate KSDK reported that the woman being questioned is the victim’s cousin.
On Thursday there was a funeral for a baby who the woman in custody claimed was hers and had been stillborn, East St. Louis Police Chief James Mister told the Belleville News-Democrat.
An autopsy will be performed on the baby Friday to determine if it was removed from the dead woman’s womb, Mister said. (Fox News)
UPDATE: Three Missing Children all Found Dead
Three missing children have been found dead, days after their mother’s body was discovered with the fetus cut from her womb, authorities announced late yesterday.
The bodies of the children were found hours after a woman was charged and jailed on US$5-million bail in the deaths of Jimella Tunstall, 23, who was seven months pregnant.
The two boys, ages 7 and 2, and their one-year-old sister were found together in an apartment in the East St. Louis public housing complex where their mother lived. (Calgary Sun)
3 children drowned and then put in washer and dryer
Good God, how could this story get any more sick and twisted. Woman accused of killing a pregnant woman and her fetus now admits to drowning three young children and putting them into a washer & dryer.
A woman accused of killing a pregnant woman and her fetus told police she drowned the woman’s three young children and stuffed them into a washer and dryer at their apartment, an official said today.
Preliminary autopsies on the dead children Sunday appear to show they were drowned, Ace Hart, a deputy St. Clair County coroner, told The Associated Press.
According to today’s autopsies, there were no signs of physical abuse or trauma on the children – ages 7, 2, and 1 – and toxicology tests were pending “to see if they were poisoned or possibly drugged,” Hart said.
“They were not drowned there in the wash machine,” Hart stressed.
Today, the community turned to prayer to understand the slayings at a service for the slain family. (Houston Chronicle)

Two year old Trenton Duckett is missing, Melinda Duckett is dead due to an apparent suicide, possessions of Trenton were found in the garbage and still these troubling comments left of Josh Duckett’s MySpace account go unanswered.
What a tragic situation of a bitter divorce between two adults and the child caught in the proverbial middle.
The message was posted on Joshua Duckett’s MySpace.com homepage on July 3, 2006, at 8:15 p.m. The language is course and the message is filled with obscenities.
VIDEO (Interview with Josh and Melinda Duckett regarding MySpace comments)
“I hate you because you ruined my life and took my son.”
‘”I am going to hunt you and your damn son down one day and kill both of you.”
“I don’t even think Trenton is my son anyway and your (sic) going to pay for what you’ve done to my life.”
“When I get my hands on your f—– (racial slur) a– you’ll regret what you’ve done … and I’ll bury your son with you.”
When asked by police about these comments, Josh Duckett claimed it was his estranged wife who was behind it. Josh Duckett claims “that his wife somehow accessed his pass word and changed his information and also typed and sent the letter to herself”.
But according to a criminal complaint filed with the Bushnell Police Department on July 11, Joshua Duckett told investigators his “estranged wife was the person behind the incident, though (the detective) was presented no evidence to that effect.”

UPDATE: Melinda Duckett Wrote MySpace Posting, Police Say
WOW, according the the police … Melinda Duckett hacked into Josh Duckett’s MySpace account and posted the death threats.
VIDEO
Also, Leesburg police confirmed on Thursday that a MySpace.com posting that included death threats and racial remarks directed at Melinda Duckett was written by Melinda Duckett. The posting appeared on Josh Duckett’s MySpace page, but he said he didn’t write it.
Computer experts now believe that Melinda Duckett hacked into his account and posted the message to set him up.
“I said that since Day 1. I knew for a fact,” Josh Duckett said on Thursday. “She was the only one that had the passwords to my e-mail account and everything. So, I knew from the start and I said that. I mean, they tried to set me up, and they failed.”
Also, the authorities have released an inventory list of the items taken from the Melinda Duckett residence.
Among the 15 things that investigators seized was a swab of something taken from an unknown stain on the hall wall in her apartment.
Also, police took a blue towel with unknown stains and a top sheet with “blood-like stains,” according to the inventory sheet.

It is no surprise that law enforcement probably considered Melinda Duckett a suspect from the out set of the disappearance of Trenton Duckett. Melinda would have been the last one to have put Trenton to bed and the first one to have noticed he was missing. The disappearance also took place under Melinda’s roof. However, now we are learning some more details to the original searches performed by the police upon gaining the initial search warrants.
Police asked to search her apartment on Aug. 27 — the night she reported Trenton missing. Investigators went to court to get a search warrant, and they searched her home early Monday morning.
“There were two search warrants served. One on the original night of the disappearance, or I guess that would actually be the following morning, early in the morning hours, and that was as the case wore on and it became apparent after interviewing the parents that the child had indeed disappeared,” said Capt. Steve Rockefeller of the Leesburg Police Department.
Upon searching the home the police found some interesting items:
Law enforcement officials told the WESH 2 I-Team that police found freshly painted walls in some places, and in the back, trash that was allegedly thrown out by Duckett was filled with Trenton’s toys.
But what grabbed investigators’ attention were the pictures, officials said. They said a lot of pictures of Trenton, including the sonogram printout from when Duckett was pregnant, were all thrown away in the trash.
Learning such details it becomes all that much more tragic that Melinda Duckett committed suicide. Authorities being able to question her in whatever manner might have shed some light on all of this as to “Where is Trenton Duckett”? Authorities have been searching at Ocalla National Forest and have turned up the following so far.
1. This past Sunday, divers in Farles Lake in the Ocala National Forest found a white garbage bag.
On the bag, investigators discovered a substance that some believed was blood and holes that appeared to be from alligator bites. The bag was sent to a Florida Department of Law Enforcement lab in Jacksonville for analysis, and forensic tests showed that the substance on that bag is not blood.
2. Law enforcement officials also said divers found a large piece of asphalt about 10 feet away from the bag. The lake is in a remote woodland where there are no paved roads.
3. The search in the Ocala National Forest has also turned up what could be a child’s shoe. Forensics experts are examining the shoe. (WESH)
The family is trying to work out the details to offer a $5000.00 reward.
The Eubanks’ church fund is in addition to the reward offered by Crimeline. In order to get that reward, tipsters need to call 800-423-TIPS. Police are also urging anyone with information to call the main investigative number at 800-CALL-FBI.
