There is still no sign of two year old Trenton Duckett who has literally vanished. According to reports he was last seen in his room on Sunday at 7:00 pm EDT. His parents noticed him missing at 9:00 pm. Police are trying to confirm the alibis of the parents, even though it seems that Trenton’s father Josh Duckett had passed a lie detector test. Authorities are also searching a wooded area on a tip.

“Investigators are asking the public to help verify the whereabouts of the Duckett family the day before Trenton vanished,” Local 6′s Mike DeForest said.
“We have reports of where Trenton was,” Leesburg police Captain Steve Rockefeller said. “We want to get confirmation of where Trenton was. That is the need for the reconstruction.”
The boy’s father, Josh Duckett, was videotaped standing behind police at Tuesday’s news conference.
“I’ve given my whole story,” Duckett said. “I’ve cooperated. Everything that I’ve been doing, and so far they are satisfied with what they found.”
Duckett said he performed well on a lie detector test about the case.

The search continues for the missing 2 year old Leesburg, FL boy Trenton Duckett. Authorities in the first time in the case mentioned that “Trenton Duckett is alive and close by.”
Police Capt. Steve Rockefeller wouldn’t say Friday why investigators are encouraged about the fate of the 2-year-old boy, who was reported taken from his bedroom through a window. Despite numerous searches, no body has been found.
“We have no evidence to indicate that he is dead,” Rockefeller said. “This [investigation] is not fruitless.”
Rockefeller said investigators are also looking at all possible answers for the toddler’s abduction — including his parents’ rocky past. Police records released Friday show that the months leading up to Trenton’s disappearance were filled with allegations of abuse and threats of violence.

Nobody is above suspicion … VIDEO
The search goes on with the efforts of The project Adam team. The questions remain is whether the parents extremely rocky past and history of alleged abuse allegations and mis-treatment have anything to do with the Trenton’s disappearance?
The couple lived in Bushnell and moved to Leesburg last year. Bushnell officers said they responded last year to several of the couple’s arguments and an allegation of Melinda Duckett neglecting her son.
The accusation was determined to be unfounded, a report said.
Last year, police took Melinda Duckett into custody under the state’s Baker Act, which allows authorities to hold people for a mental evaluation if they show evidence of being a danger to themselves or others.
The specifics of the incident that prompted her being held were unclear. Bushnell police would not release their report Friday. They said it was a medical record not subject to the state’s public-records laws.

Police are working with state and federal agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the FBI.
On Wednesday, law-enforcement officers were questioning neighbors in the Windemere Villas apartment complex where Trenton lives and interviewing nearby registered sex offenders.
Andrew Vita, a member of Team Adam, a unit of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, said his organization was helping to circulate fliers and talking with Trenton’s relatives and parents, Joshua and Melinda Duckett, both 21.
“It’s a very intense investigative effort,” Vita said. “They [officers] are working all night long. Some people have been here for several days.”

The search continues for 2 year old Trenton Duckett who has been missing since Sunday night. Police authorities in Leesburg, FL are questioning sex offenders and neighbors in an effort to find a missing boy.
On Wednesday, investigators said they were questioning people in the boy’s neighborhood and registered sex offenders in the area.
“In the 21 years I’ve been here, we have never been looking at anything like a potential abduction-type case where it may be a stranger,” Leesburg police Capt. Steve Rockefeller said. “We have had parent involvement, parent interference and other domestic-type situations. Obviously we are looking at all angles in this case, and we just want to get Trenton home.”
The case certainly has its share of oddities. In one of the more strange connections, Trenton’s grandfather, James Duckett, is awaiting lethal injection on Florida’s death row for the rape and murder of an 11 year old girl
VIDEO
Nearly 20 years ago, the Mascotte police officer was convicted of raping and murdering an 11-year-old girl.
Prosecutors said they found the girl’s fingerprints on the hood of Duckett’s patrol car and that his tire tracks were near the lake where the girl was drowned.
Duckett has maintained his innocence.

- Asian-Caucasian
- 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall
- weighing 30 to 40 pounds
- brown low-cut hair
- He was last seen wearing a blue-and-green striped shirt (or no shirt) with blue denim shorts and no shoes.
UPDATE (9/1/06): Tip Sparks Search Of Central Fla. Woods In Missing Boy Case
A new tip in the case of a Leesburg toddler who vanished from his bedroom Sunday night sparked a Friday night search of a wooded area near his grandmother’s house, Local 6 News has learned.
Local 6 News reported that federal agents, officers and search dogs were combing through some undeveloped land in Lady Lake just blocks from a gated community where his grandmother lives.
All police would say Friday was that a tip led them to the location, Local 6 reporter Mike DeForest said.

From out of Australia comes a new and bizarre form of rape defense in the case of 39 year old Arthur Fairwell. Arthur Fairwell pleaded guilty to six charges to the drugging and sexual assault of a 13 year old girl and the drugging of her mother. Wait until you hear Fairwell’s and even his lawyers defense. You just can’t make this nonsense up, or can you? They seemed to have.
A man drugged and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl because he believed he was rock star Ozzy Osbourne and had to follow in his footsteps, a Sydney court was told today.
Arthur Fairwell, 39, is facing a sentencing hearing in the NSW District Court, where he has pleaded guilty to six charges over the assault of the girl and the drugging of her and her mother.
Fairwell met the girl’s mother through a telephone dating service in May 2004.
(Daily Telegraph)
He said Fairwell thought he was heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne and felt compelled to have sex with a 13-year-old girl because that is what Ozzy once did.
(Yahoo News)
The “Rock star” defense is what Fairwell’s attorney dreamed up. Fairwell seems to have another story as to why he drugged and raped a 13 year old girl.
A Sydney man who drugged a woman and raped her teenage daughter has claimed in court he is being persecuted because he was Middle Eastern.
It’s because I’m from the Middle East,” Fairwell shouted.
“Ever since 9/11.
“All the Aussies get let off – you have no idea.”
Fairwell admitted to drugging a woman he met through a telephone dating service, then drugging and sexually assaulting her 13 year-old daughter at their south-west Sydney home two years ago.
So what is it, the rock star “I am Ozzy Osbourne defense” or I am the persecuted Middle Easterner with post 9–11 wrongful bias placed on me? One defense more sick than the other in justifying and explaining the rape of a 13 year old girl. Fairwell will be sentenced Thursday.

The foster parents of 3 year old Marcus Fiesel, David and Liz Carroll, have been charged with involuntary manslaughter. Marcus Fiesel has been missing since last Tuesday.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph Deters, Sheriff Simon Leis, Jr and Clermont County Prosecutor Donald White held a news conference at 3 p.m. to announce the arrest of David and Liz Carroll, Marcus Fiesel’s foster parents. They are charged with involuntary manslaughter, but more serious charges are expected.
Pictures of Missing Marcus Fiesel
Marcus Fiesel, who was developmentally disabled, was reportedly last seen August 15; however, police have a theory as to what occurred. It is imcomprehensible what some people are capable of. These people were given the responsibility to take care of a 3 year old, developmentally disabled boy. God be with you Marcus.
Deters said David and Liz Carroll placed Marcus in a closet for two days, before going to a family reunion in Williamsburg, Ky. Aug. 4. When they returned, he was dead.
David Carroll is accused of burning the boy’s body in Brown County.
The news conferences held by the couple were allegedly part of their cover-up.
The Clermont County Children’s Services has taken charge of the Carroll’s four children.

Caseworker Contradicts Foster Mom About Last Visit With Missing Boy
CINCINNATI, Ohio – A caseworker contradicted a statement made by the foster mother of a missing 3-year-old, NewsChannel5 partner ONN reported.
She said she never saw Marcus Fiesel during an in-house visit earlier this month.
His foster mother, Liz Carroll, said Marcus wandered away after she passed out in an Anderson Township park on Aug. 15.
Carroll told the media the case worker saw the child during a weekly visit Aug. 10.

Foster parents charged in death of missing 3-year-old
A Hamilton County grand jury indicted the Carrolls on charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering children, and David Carroll was charged with gross abuse of a corpse.
David Carroll took the boy’s body to rural Brown County and burned it, Deters said. A search for the remains was launched Monday. Deters declined to discuss other details of the investigation.
The Carrolls were arrested separately and jailed Monday, he said.

Authorities believe that Trenton Duckett is in danger. It is believed that Trenton was taken through his bedroom window.
Investigators said they’re very concerned, and the FBI has been called in to help search for the boy.
Detectives said they think Trenton was taken through his bedroom window. Investigators said they also found signs of forced entry into the apartment.
“When we were checking out the area, it was discovered that at least one entry point of the apartment has some signs of tampering. I can’t really go into too many details about that, but that did lead us to be extremely cautious regarding foul play or something of that nature in this case,” Leesburg Police Department Capt. Steve Rockefeller said.

UPDATE I: (8/29/06) Police still hunt for missing boy
LEESBURG — Police were still searching late Monday for a 2-year-old boy reportedly abducted from his bedroom during the weekend.
The boy is the grandson of James Duckett, the former Mascotte police officer who is on death row for raping, strangling and drowning an 11-year-old girl, according to Jeanne Bragg, a longtime family friend. That crime occurred in 1987, and he was convicted in 1988. The Florida Supreme Court upheld the conviction in October.
Family members said the boy’s parents, Melinda and Joshua Duckett, both 21 years old, had been fighting for custody of the child. The couple filed for divorce in June and live in separate cities, according to court records.
Last month, Melinda Duckett requested a restraining order against her estranged husband.
In her petition for injunction, she said she received an e-mail from Joshua Duckett in July, threatening to hurt her and Trenton, court records said. Her petition stated “Joshua would hunt my son and I [Melinda] down and that he will bury my son with me.”

With all the questionable statements and comments that have come from John Mark Karr since he confessed to the murder of of JonBenet Ramsey, it was not that much of a surprise when the DNA results came back negative. According to reports, the “DNA sample taken from John Mark Karr is not a match with the foreign DNA found on JonBenet Ramsey’s body when she was murdered in 1996.”
Denver – Two sources have confirmed that the DNA sample taken from John Mark Karr is not a match with the foreign DNA found on JonBenet Ramsey’s body when she was murdered in 1996.
Samples of Karr’s saliva and hair were taken in Boulder, CO after his arrival on Thursday. Those samples were tested over the weekend inside the Denver Police Department’s Crime lab.
JonBenet was covered in a blanket when her body was found. Foreign hair fibers were found on that blanket and they did not match any of the Ramsey family or approximately 100 people.
After all this, the DA in Boulder, CO is not going to file charges. What a mighty expensive plane ticket to get John Karr back to Colorado for nothing. Next time the Boulder DA may want to ask the family where a potential suspect may have been before they jump the gun. It is actually amazing that it appears all the DA had was a confession. A confession for and obsessed individual that gets off on murder cases of young girl.
Karr is scheduled to be in court Monday afternoon for an advisement hearing.
Charges related to the JonBenet case are not being filed in Colorado but California may file. Boulder, CO could file different charges for Karr however.

The trial for 64 year old Dean Schwartzmiller, who authorities state may be the most prolific child molester in history. The story of Dean Schwartzmiller simply shows the problems in how child molesters are dealt with and the slaps on the wrists that are given. Dean Arthur Schwartzmiller was previously arrested nine times; however, managed to avoid lengthy prison terms, coach youth football, move in with another convicted sex offender
Now, more than a year after Dean Schwartzmiller was arrested for allegedly abusing two 12-year-old cousins, his trial is set to begin in a Santa Clara County courtroom.
Schwartzmiller, 64, has pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of child molestation and child pornography in connection with the boys, whom he befriended in December 2002. Opening statements are scheduled to begin Monday in a trial that could last more than a month. If convicted, he faces life in prison.
Schwartzmiller is suspected of possibly molesting over 36,000 victims.
A convicted child molester jailed in California may have committed sex crimes against thousands of victims, police said Thursday after finding computers, notebooks and meticulous, handwritten lists of boys’ names and apparent codes for various sex acts.
During a search of his bedroom in San Jose, police discovered binders full of child porn and numerous logs with lists of more than 36,000 children’s names — mostly boys — and codes that appear to indicate how he abused them.

Natascha Kampusch was ten when she was kidnapped on her way to school Natascha was then imprisoned in a tiny pit dug into the garage floor of her captor’s. What is only more unbelievable than Natascha’s story of being held as a sex slave is her dramatic escape and the fact that she is alive after all this time.

Natascha Kampusch, who was ten when she was kidnapped on her way to school, was imprisoned in a tiny pit dug into the floor of her captor’s garage.
Natascha told officers she was kept as a sex slave in a tiny windowless cell behind a heavy metal gate. She was forced to call her captor ‘Gebiete’ – an old-fashioned term for ‘Master’ used in fairy stories.
Initially, it was reported that she had escaped from Priklopil’s car when his BMW was stopped for a routine police check.
But it emerged that she had fled from his two-storey house in Strasshof near Vienna and was found by an elderly woman. Police quickly raided the property, finding Natascha’s passport and her tiny cell. Priklopil had already fled after discovering she was missing.
