Once again we are presented with a senseless killing of a teenage girl by animals. Teenagers have to understand though, that they are not prepared for what they may come across in the real world. When they have to sneak out of the friendly confines of their home, they are entering a world that they know nothing of. Such was the unfortunate case of 18 year old Jennifer Moore. The two teenagers that went to NYC for a night of fun were unprepared for things that could have gone wrong. Things went terribly wrong.
The teens drank heavily until 2:30 a.m., police said, when they walked back to where they had parked the car and discovered it had been towed. About an hour later they took a cab to the NYPD impound lot at Pier 76.
Clearly drunk, Kenan cursed loudly after an impound clerk told her she couldn’t have the car back until she sobered up. Kenan continued to argue with the clerk and then collapsed shortly after 4 a.m. After employees called an ambulance, Moore wandered off.
At this point Moore had been separated from her friend, alone and vulnerable. It was only a matter of time before she became a victim.
Lost on the far West Side, Moore used her cell phone at 5:08 a.m. to call her boyfriend, Kofi Boakye, in New Jersey. She told him she thought she was being followed, police said. Boakye, 18, told her to take a cab to the hospital.
But two minutes later, Coleman had Moore’s cell phone and she was never heard from again. Cops believe Coleman lured Moore into a cab by telling her he was going to New Jersey.
Jennifer Moore had been missing for 2 days until her body was found in a dumpster.
The 18-year-old’s body was discovered about 4:30 a.m. yesterday, two days after she got lost walking along 12th Ave. on the West Side, wearing a black halter top and white miniskirt.
Chunks of her long, brown hair had been ripped out of her head and her body horribly bruised.
As ex-con Draymond Coleman, 34, and his prostitute girlfriend were being held in the assault and murder of Jennifer Moore.
“It sounds like somebody got a hold of her very quickly and she never had a chance.” Investigators believe Jennifer Moore was sexually assaulted in a drab room on the third floor of the Park Ave. Hotel in Weehawken, before Coleman strangled and beat her as his lover watched, sources said.

A Teenager’s Last Steps on a Trail of Missed Chances
In a city of random encounters, this one seemed especially touched by chance.
She, a tiny prep-school girl in a miniskirt and halter top, in from New Jersey to go to a club. He, a troubled drifter and convicted felon — a pimp, investigators say, who slept in cheap rented rooms and was in and out of jail for selling drugs.
Then there was the happenstance at play: her boyfriend had not come out with her that night; her friend had gotten drunk, leaving her to wander the streets alone; their cherry red sedan had been towed from a “no standing” zone while they were dancing, leaving her no easy way of getting home.
The rest is just a terrible set of circumstances that lead to her abduction, assault and murder.

What was the senseless and tragic act responsible for the death of Destiny Norton? According to police transcripts we may have the answer as to how and why Craig Roger Gregerson killed Destiny Norton.
Police statements:
“On July 16th 2006, Craig Roger Gregerson observed juvenile female…outside his residence in Salt Lake County, Utah. Suspect Gregerson opened the gate to his backyard and lured the juvenile female into his residence. The juvenile female began to scream. Suspect Gregerson put his hand over the juvenile’s mouth and began to squeeze. The juvenile female went limp and suspect Gregerson laid her body on the floor.”

VIDEO
Craig Roger Gregerson failed the initial lie detector test the police gave him which led to the further investigation of his story he provided. As it turns out it appears that Craig Gregerson failed two polygraph tests.
Craig Gregerson lured an unsuspecting 5 year old to his home? For what reason? This individual supposedly has had no criminal record and certainly non for sex offenses. Or is it that he just had never been caught? Let’s just hope that Gregerson never asked for an attorney during any of his interrogations that could get any of this evidence thrown out as it was in the Couey case in the murder of Jessica Lunsford.
Death Of Utah Girl Destiny Norton Raises Outrage: Suspect had violent past.
How can antone know this type of sick individual lives next door to them?
Court documents showed Craig Roger Gregerson, 20, had a violent past and was arrested for domestic abuse in 2004.
Documents from Salt Lake District Court and Sandy Justice Court say Gregerson attended group therapy and ordered him to create a plan aimed at keeping himself and others safe.
But Tuesday the Salt Lake County Jail released a statement describing what Gregerson allegedly did with Destiny, whose body was found at 8:30 p.m. Monday.
A probable cause statement says Gregerson lured the juvenile female into his home and covered her mouth when she began to scream.
The document blacks out the name Destiny Norton. The document says Gergerson observed a female outside his residence on July 16 in Salt Lake County, Utah.
Previous complain againt Gregerson by his ex-mother in law:
His mother-in-law filed an affidavit accusing Gregerson of once choking and punching her when she tried to kick him out of her home.
Gregerson once threw the couple’s 1-year-old daughter across a bed when the infant kicked some food off his lap, said an attorney for Gregerson’s wife.

As reported early this morning, the body of 5 year old Destiny Norton was found in the basement of neighbor Craig R. Gregerson. Gregerson’s property abutted the back yard of the home where Destiny Norton lived.
(20-year old Craig Gregerson has no previous criminal record, but was arrested for a domestic violence incident in 2004)
Police Chief Chris Burbank said the body of the child missing since July 16 was found at 8:30 p.m. Monday in the basement of Craig R. Gregerson, 20, whose property abutted the back yard of the Nortons.
The sudden shock of the reality of the sorrow, grief and the pain was overwhelming to those in the crowd and the family. In light of this horrendous and tragic discovery, many began to question how on earth with all the searching that was done for Destiny could she have been so close?
Neighbors and friends gathered outside the home of 5-year-old Destiny Norton and asked how the girl’s body could have gone undiscovered when it was so near.
“They told us they searched these buildings four f—— times,” Norton family spokeswoman Jeannie Hill said of police. “They did not do their jobs”.
(Salt Lake City Tribune)
The sad reality is that Destiny Norton may have been killed immediately. However, for those who followed the Jessica Lunsford case we discovered after the fact that Jessica was alive when the police were still looking for her as a missing person in the house where John Couey lived.
“All I know is the cops searched the whole freaking area and didn’t find nothing until today,” said Zach Willner, one of the 10 young people, including the Nortons, who lived together. “The person who got her had better freaking pay for it.”
Jeannie Norton, a friend of the family for 10 years, said police had said they searched the buildings four times.
The police did not release any information as to the cause of Destiny Norton’s death. Gregerson was booked in the homicide of Destiny Norton, but did not answer any questions.
Burbank earlier had announced the discovery of the body and told a news conference that Gregerson had been booked for investigation of homicide. He did not answer questions, and no information was released as to the cause of death or how long the girl had been dead.
The police did release a mug shot of Craig R. Gregerson from a previous arrest.
Police did release a mug shot of Gregerson that was taken when he was arrested in 2004 for investigation of domestic assault.

UPDATE: Destiny’s body found in Salt Lake City: Victim discovered in home of neighbor
Michael Brandy, Deseret Morning News
Destiny Norton’s uncle, Peter Brooks, is conforted by a family friend Monday night.
The outpouring of grief over the news that Destiny Norton’s body was found right under everyone’s noses in almost too much to bear. The extensive and exhausting searches and she was right there, so very close.
The search for 5-year-old Destiny Norton ended in tragedy as police recovered the little girl’s body Monday night.
Destiny’s body was discovered in the basement of a home just two buildings behind her own home, from which she vanished on July 16.

How brazen and sick can some people truly be? The facts that sex crimes occur is bad enough. That fact that they are prepared on children is even worse. But for a rape to occur to an eight year old in broad day light is truly repulsive and heinous. How sick and dangerous an individual is on the loose that would do such a thing.
Have you seen this man in the St. Petersburg, FL area?
Police say the suspect is described:
-
an Asian male between 17 and 21-years-old
-
He’s 5’6″ and 125-pounds.
-
Officers say the suspect may be a transient
An 8-year-old girl was raped on the side of a residential street in full daylight less than half a block from her apartment, police said.
The girl was leaving a park at about 12:55 p.m. with her 7-year-old brother when a man grabbed her from behind, pulled her to the ground and raped her, police said. Their mother had left them alone for a few minutes to return home and turn off the kitchen stove.
(First Coast News)
Luckily people near by who witnessed and heard the attack and called 911 and ran to the scene causing this rapists to run off. Neighbor Aaron Chambiss was playing basketball and ran to the scene and chased the attacker down the street. The incomprehensible actions of the sick individual are beyond belief in that he committed this crime in broad daylight, out in the open and with people running toward him.
When he ran to the park. he couldn’t believe what he saw.
Aaron chased the suspect down the block but he got away, “He seemed to be high on something because he saw me and attempted to run the first time but then he jumped back on the little girl.”
Parents like Aaron are worried, “It’s a sick individual, broad daylight in front of a park. Residential neighborhood, lots of kids around here, we don’t need any sexual predators in our neighborhood.”
Aaron says it made him sick to see what happened, “She was begging and pleading for him to stop and it touched my heart. I got kids of my own.”
(Tampa Bays 10)
Police were able to recover the man’s shirt; however, he got away. Hopefully there may be DNA on the shirt that they may be able to match to a sex offender database.
Neighbors had never seen him in the area before. Call the St. Petersburg Police Department if you have any information.
UPDATE: According to Tampa Bays 10 a suspect has been arrested in the daylight rape of 10 8 year old St Petersburg girl.

We hear and read about the Nigerian money scams all the time on the internet. We get emails from long lost friends and relatives in Nigeria promising us fortunes if we would just help them. I did not even realize I had family living in Nigeria. The fact that this scam is so widely known just makes it all the more amazing that it involved Mary Winkler and the eventual killing of her husband Matthew Winkler. I just never knew people could still fall for this. It is a sad event where “Nigerian scam” not only caused financial hardship, but also death.
Mary Winkler, who is charged with murder, had gotten tangled up along with her husband in a swindle known as an advance-fee fraud, or the “Nigerian scam,” in which victims are told that a sweepstakes prize or some other riches are waiting for them if they send in money to cover the processing expenses, her lawyers say.
“They were always kind of living on the edge of their budget,” defense attorney Steve Farese said, “so I’m sure this would have just wrecked their budget.”
The financial problems gave rise to arguments between the couple that wound up in Matthew Winkler shot to death, Mary Winkler charged with his murder and their children without parent. Who said that the Nigerian scam only affect people monetarily.
“He had really been on me lately, criticizing me for things – the way I walk, what I eat, everything. It was just building up to a point. I was tired of it. I guess I got to a point and snapped.”
Advance-fee scams became associated with Nigeria in the 1980s when government corruption and a failing economy left many well-educated, English-speaking Nigerians unemployed. “But we see it from all over the world,” said John Kane, research manager for the National White Collar Crime Center.

Clifford Wright, the former boyfriend of Tamela Gardner, missing and presumed dead along with a male companion has been arrested on unrelated drug charges. 36 year old Clifford Wright is a “person of interest” in the homicide investigation involving two bodies found yesterday in a van that was owned by Tamela Gardner. In so many murder cases, the person of interest is brought in on a separate, unrelated charge while the more serious one is investigated.
Police spokesman Corporal Trinidad Navarro says Wright was charged today with two counts of delivery of cocaine. Wright also was charged July Fifth with aggravated harassment of Gardner and was ordered to have no contact with her.

The body of missing 16 year old Samantha Mikesell was found in Meuller Park, a wooded area in the Bountiful foothills in Utah. Police were lead police to the area of Samantha’s body search where dogs located her. She had been missing since Sunday.
Police have found the body of a missing teenager while acting on information from her suspected abductor.
Police first believed the girl may have run away until information from their investigation led them to a man that may have been with her when she disappeared.

Body of missing teen found
BOUNTIFUL — Police found the body of a missing 16-year-old girl today in Mueller Park Canyon. A convicted sex offender who has been living in Woods Cross is being questioned about any role he may have played in her death.
Search dogs discovered the body of Samantha Mikesell in some brush and undergrowth near the backyard of a home on Wood Hollow Drive. Police said they found empty pill bottles nearby.
Officers on Thursday were questioning Walter White, 38, who admitted that he had been with Mikesell since Sunday. Bountiful police said White admitted to picking up Mikesell on Sunday at Dee’s Restaurant in Bountiful, where she worked, and taking her to the canyon.(Desert News)
It was originally though that the two had met on the internet; however, later determined that Samantha had met her assailant through the man’s son. What were the odds that Samantha Mikesell’s alleged killer was a previous sex offender?
The unnamed man is a registered sex offender with the State of Utah. In 1996 he was convicted of lewdness involving a child, a class B misdemeanor. He has not been charged with a crime involving Mikesell.
(WCBS-TV)
Police said Mikesell met White through his son, and the two were friends. Officers seized a mattress and a computer from White’s apartment on Thursday. However, police said there was no evidence of a sexual relationship between White and Mikesell.
Cardall said Mikesell’s family may have recently learned of her friendship with White and disapproved. (Desert News)
Walter Andrew White is just another example of the system giving sex offenders ever chance in the world so that they can ultimately kill. What in the hell is wrong with out legal system that provides opportunity after opportunity for sex offenders to commit crimes until they finally kill? Only then do we take it seriously. What purpose would a 38 year old registered sex offender and a 16 year old girl need to have a relationship?
Bountiful Detective Paul Cardell noticed White, who was convicted in 1996 of lewdness involving a child, had scratches on his arms and face, and he admitted picking up Mikesell Sunday from her job at a Dee’s Restaurant in Bountiful.
At that point police took him to the station for questioning and searched his home and car, confiscating his computer and a mattress, Lt. S.A. Gray said.
White told detectives he had been with the Viewmont High School student in the foothills east of Bountiful but does not remember anything between the time he was with her and the time he woke up in the Lakeview Hospital.
Officers said Davis County sheriff’s deputies found him disoriented in the foothills earlier this week and had him taken to the hospital.
Police said others have told them the pair went into the canyon intending to commit suicide.
White met the teen through his son or stepson, police said, and they would talk on the Internet.
(Salt Lake Tribune)
UPDATE: Walter White Had Past Says Relative
Walter White’s family and estranged wife knew that he was seeing a 16–17 year old girl, obsessed over her and was a registered sex offender. All this and they told no one? The family urged him to stop seeing Samantha. Did they warn her family? Either the answer is no or if they did, then Samantha’s family knew their 17 year old daughter was associating with a sex offender. The latter I find hard to believe.
Walter White’s family and his estranged wife say he met Samantha Mikesell about a year ago and the two saw each other often.
White’s family told us they met through one of White’s sons. Several family members told us it was a friendship that broke up Walter White’s marriage. Another family member told us it was more than a friendship and seemed a lot like obsession.
Walter White and Samantha Mikesell met a year ago. Some family members say they were just friends and never alone, others say it was more than that. All agreed it was not healthy, and both had a history of suicide attempts.
White’s sister-in-law says the relationship was obsessive; they talked about being in love. She says he admitted he could not leave young girls alone.
Sister-in-Law: “Walter has a horrible, sexual abuse, um past, where he’s been in trouble with the law.”
The family urged him to stop seeing the teen. They tried to stay in touch and make sure he was getting counseling and taking his medicine.

The sad end has come in the case of missing Gabrielle Bechen. Gabrielle Bechen’s body was found late Saturday buried at a horse farm a short distance from her home. Both she and her ATV were partially buried.
Her body was found late Saturday buried at a horse farm a short distance from her home, state police said. The ATV she had been riding was also found partially buried at a large manure dump site about one mile from her body, police said.
“Once the quad was located, there were several cadaver dogs that were brought in and they searched other areas around the farm, which led us to the location where ultimately Gabby’s body was found,” Trooper Joseph Christy told reporters at a news conference.
Police have charged Jeffrey Robert Martin, a 48-year-old caretaker at the farm, with several counts. He is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and four counts of tampering with physical evidence.
State police and FBI investigators questioned Martin for several hours while searchers intensified their efforts at the farm.
Christy said police assumed there had been prior contact between the suspect and Bechen because she had visited the farm several times in the past to see the horses.
Officials did not give details about the possible cause or circumstances of the girl’s death. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.
