Alberta after boy goes missing. How many offenses do those that are charged with sex crimes have to commit before they are deemed unfit to live in society? Canada has the same issues as does the United States.
WHITEWOOD, Sask. – Police in Western Canada were desperately searching Monday for a 10-year-old Saskatchewan boy allegedly abducted by a notorious pedophile who’s been jailed several times for sexual crimes against children.
RCMP issued a Canada-wide warrant for Peter Robert Joseph Whitmore, of Chilliwack, B.C., after Zachary Miller, a red-headed 10-year-old from Whitewood,Sask., was reported missing.

WHITEWOOD, Sask. — Police across Western Canada have launched a frantic ground and air search for two missing young boys — one from Winnipeg, one from Saskatchewan — and the convicted pedophile accused of kidnapping them through a pair of shocking schemes, one of which was carried out in Brandon.
Peter Robert Joseph Whitmore, 35, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after vanishing from the small farming community of Whitewood in southeastern Saskatchewan on Sunday evening.
Whitmore is believed to be travelling with 10-year-old Zachary Miller of Whitewood and 14-year-old Jordan Bruyere of Winnipeg in a blue 1988 Dodge Caravan with Alberta licence plates.

Craig Roger Gregerson, you belong in the 7th circle of Hell for what you did to 5 
year old Destiny Norton. Who knew that with crimes against children that consist of rape, molestation and murder that there would be levels of severity?
There is actually no punishment that we have in the present US justice system that would be acceptable. For you Craig Roger Gregerson I would actually bring back public stoning for just one day. Laws and punishments were not made with such sick human beings like yourself.
Gregerson’s mother-in-law also made it clear that she hopes justice is done, and that Destiny’s accused killer goes away for good.

As Destiny Norton’s funeral takes place today at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS church, Craig Roger Gregerson was charged Friday with crimes against 5 year old Destiny Norton that are unspeakable.

Gregerson remains in the Salt Lake County Jail where he is being held on a $5 million dollar bond for multiple counts against 5 year old Destiny. According to the Court Documents, what Gregerson did defies belief”
Count I. Criminal Homicide:
- Craig Roger Gregerson intentionally and knowingly cause the death of Destiny Norton
- The defendant committed the crime of abuse or desecration of a dead human body in that the defendant committed or attempted to commit upon the dead human body of DN any act of sexual penetration.
Count II. Child Kidnapping in the first degree.

The Press statement includes the cause of death as reported by the medical examiner.
Todd Grey, Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Utah, performed an autopsy on Destiny’s body on July 25, 2006. Dr Grey observed on her body consistent with post-mortem vaginal penetration. Dr Grey opined that the manner of Destiny’s death was homicide and that the cause of death was consistent with smothering.
At some point one has to wonder what we can do to rid our society of such individuals. Calling them animals would be a disservice to actual animals everywhere. It is unimaginable that they walk among us.

Well Debra LaFave can thank the lord that she is a pretty and a woman. Today, the states attorney of Marion County dropped the charges against her for having sex with a 14 
year old boy. There is no way this ever would have occurred if she had committed this same crime as a man.
Debra LaFave had just found out the Marion County state attorney dropped three charges against her. So she doesn’t have to stand trial and risk a prison sentence on allegations she had sex with a 14-year-old student in Ocala in June 2004.
Earlier, Marion County Judge Hale Stancil rejected a plea agreement for LaFave, prompting the state attorney to dismiss the charges against her.
Needless to say Debra LaFave is doing cartwheels over this decision.

Talk about a double standard. What do you this a states attorney would have done if it was a man having sex with a 14 year old girl? Equal justice under the law, huh? Ever wonder why we are beginning to hear nothing but these types of stories? Maybe its because the women know that they won’t be taken seriously.

Debra LaFave: “I offer my deepest apology. I’ve been undergoing extensive therapy and believe it has helped me tremendously. I would hope that all media outlets will let us peacefully move on.” And despite the intense media interest in her case, LaFave says she is taking courses on –line to become a journalist. Teacher Debra Lafave Won’t Face Student Sex Charges
Prosecutors and defense attorneys had urged the judge to accept the 
deal for the sake of the boy involved. A psychiatrist who examined the teenager told the judge at a previous hearing that the boy suffered extreme anxiety from the media coverage of the case and does not want to testify.
Marion County Circuit Judge Hale Stancil, however, said the lack of prison time for Lafave under the plea deal “shocks the conscience of this court,” and he rejected it.
Assistant State Attorney Richard Ridgway, in explaining the decision to drop the charges, said: “The court may be willing to risk the well-being of the victims in this case in order to force it to trial. I am not.” (Local 6)

Some of these stories just defy sensibility. Brandon Jaffe, a 15 year old baby sitter in Central Florida was arrested for forcing two 8-year-olds to perform sex acts on him. How do we know, the parents had installed a hidden surveillance camera to video tape happens in the home.
The video captured Jaffe forcing the young children to perform oral sex on him, a police news release said.
The high school student faces 11 felony counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a child.
“These type of cases require us to be very meticulous in collecting evidence. We will continue to review all facets of this case until the investigation is completed,” said Flagler County Sheriff Donald W. Fleming.

We can’t wait to hear his boy’s defense attorney claim that his clients civil rights were violated and his right to privacy by being video taped with out his permission. Of course this is sarcasm; however, there is most likely an attorney out there that would have no issue doing so.
The police are now worried that there may have been other previous victims. People are urged to call the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office if they have any information.

The on going carousel of female student having sex with their underage students continues. This time it stops on Adrienne Raymond, a Sheridan High School teacher accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old male student last summer. We can now say ex-Sheriden HS teacher as she was fired yesterday for her actions.
We take no joy in this,” Williams said. “We wanted to be fair. Now it’s time to be fair to the district and the taxpayers.”
Raymond is facing eight counts of third-degree sex abuse and six counts of third-degree sodomy. She has a pretrial conference scheduled for Monday, March 6.
The abuse allegedly took place between June and October.
“Given the reality that she is unable to perform her duties, due to the pending charges, the board can discharge her with sufficient reason,” Williams said.

Take a look at what her favorite memory is from Sheriden High School from the school’s web page … when the students “get it” and think what “is it” is cool.
She was arrested in early October after a third-party reported the allegations. She was accused of having sexual contact with the 15 year old student.

“We believe Raymond began having sexual contact with this youth over the summer, and it continued into the school year” Yamhill County Sheriff Jack Crabtree said in a statement.
Detectives think the two had sex at her McMinnville home and another home in Amity.

No matter what you want to call it, profiling or stereotyping, in this day and age it just may be good common sense. In Australian, men are barred from sitting next to unaccompanied children on flights. Sure there may be an insinuation, but if its a rule for all males could it just be perceived as a guideline in the best interest and welfare of children. Although such a rule would not have prevented this from happening.
However, before people start spouting off about their civil rights are being violated or they were made to feel embarrassed. Stop and think that it may not be about them. Sometimes is about this 10-year-old girl who was molested, Or the fact that kids flying alone may be targets of airport predators. Rather than worrying about adults first, why don’t we put the children’s welfare first this time?

Peter Braunstein, 42, wanted for questioning in Halloween night sexual attack on a woman in her Manhattan apartment posing as a city firefighter was captured Friday at the 
University of Memphis in Tennessee.
Police said fashion writer Peter Braunstein, 42, was spotted on the University of Memphis campus by a woman who recognized him from news reports about his fugitive status. She called campus police, who caught up with Braunstein, according to New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne.
“He said, ‘I’m the person you’re looking for,’ and he stabbed himself three times in the neck,” Browne said.
Braunstein was hospitalized in critical condition. Seeing the acts that this man is allegedly responsible for, maybe he was just doing everyone a favor.
New York police had been hunting since early November for the freelance journalist, once a writer for Women’s Wear Daily. Police want to question Braunstein about the attack on a woman by a man who bluffed his way into her apartment after setting two small fires and pounding on her door while dressed in full fire gear.
He bound the woman and molested her for more than 13 hours, police said.
He has not been charged in the attack.
Investigators said they believe Braunstein was obsessed with the victim.

Police tell America’s Most Wanted that a woman spotted Braunstein on campus and recognized him as the notorious fugitive. That woman called campus police, who quickly approached Braunstein. When they did, they say he told them: “I’m the guy they’re looking for in New York.” At that point, police say Braunstein pulled out a knife and began stabbing himself in the neck. The former fugitive was rushed to a nearby emergency room where he was listed in critical condition.
