It would appear that Christopher Luttrell has admitted to the murder of social worker, Boni Frederick, when he and Renee Terrell kidnapped Saige Terrell. Luttrell also apologized to all that he hurt.
When asked if he killed social worker Boni Frederick, Luttrell replied, “Yes, ma’am,” according to Nevels and reporters who were present.
It may be a bit too late for apologies as these two are in a world of trouble.
Authorities allege the couple fled three days earlier after killing Frederick, 67, and abducting Terrell’s 10-month-old son, Saige. Frederick had taken the boy to Terrell’s home in Henderson for a visit.
The baby was found unharmed and has been returned to foster parents in Union County, Ky.
Federal prosecutors in Kentucky initially charged the couple with fleeing to avoid prosecution on kidnapping charges, but have dropped their charges so state authorities could prosecute the two on felony murder, kidnapping, robbery and theft charges, Nevels said. (Houston Chronicle)
Mother denies killing aide
HENDERSON, Ky. – A Henderson woman charged with kidnapping her 9-month-old child after killing a social service aide offered insight into the crimes Thursday but denied involvement in the killing.
During a 40-minute news conference at the Henderson County Detention Center, Renee Terrell, 33, answered a range of questions, refused to address others and generally painted herself as a victim rather than a suspect. (Evansville Courier Press)

The abduction of Abigale Lynn Woods has some to a safe and happy conclusion. Abby was returned safe, unharmed and in excellent condition on Tuesday according to reports. The FBI have arrested a suspect in the brutal kidnapping. The suspects name is being reported as Shannon Beck, a woman who lived nearby the Ochsenbine residence and who was pregnant but who supposedly recently miscarried. The suspect amazingly fit the exact profile that the FBI had initially put forth.
FBI agent Roland Corvington identified the suspect as Shannon Beck, who had been pregnant recently but was believed to have had a miscarriage.
Abby was taken Friday when a home invader stabbed her mother.
Shannon Beck was passing the story that she had given birth; however, her sister-in-law became suspect of the story. The hero in this event is Shannon Beck’s sister in law, Dorothy Torrez, who confronted Beck when she noticed the strawberry birth mark on the baby’s forehead
Four days later, the case broke when Beck’s sister-in-law, Dorothy Torrez, contacted authorities.
Torrez became involved Sunday when Beck contacted her to say she had given birth, Corvington said. Torrez visited Beck on Monday and noticed what appeared to be makeup on the baby’s forehead, Corvington said. When she rubbed the forehead, a small birthmark became evident.
In publicizing the abduction, police had described Abby’s strawberry-red birthmark. Her suspicions aroused, Torrez confronted Beck, who gave her the baby, Corvington said. (Chicago Tribune)
Suspected Arrested supposed name is Shannon Beck
The woman, intially identified by police as Shannon Beck but who later claimed to have a different name, was arrested in connection with the disappearance of 11-day-old Abigale “Abby” Lynn Woods, who became known as “Baby Abby.” The woman’s age was not immediately known.
Beck miscarried a full-term fetus on Friday, the same day Abby was abducted and the baby’s mother, 21-year-old Stephanie Ochsenbine, was attacked with a knife, authorities said. Beck lived several miles away from Ochsenbine’s residence, said FBI Special Agent Roland Corvington. (Watch investigators discuss how the baby was found — 3:09) (CNN)
The suspects observant sister-in-law noticed the much publicized baby Abby’s birthmark and began to question where the suspect go the baby. Not taking no and the fabricated stories as the truth, Dorothy Torrez confronted her sister-in-law and she finally admitted what she had done.
Beck called her sister-in-law, Dorothy Torrez, on Sunday to say she had given birth, and Torrez visited Beck on Monday and Tuesday, Corvington said.
While accompanying Beck to a doctor’s appointment Tuesday, Torrez noticed makeup on the baby’s forehead, the special agent said. Police reports had indicated the baby had a birthmark on her forehead.
While Beck was inside the doctor’s office, Torrez rubbed Abigale’s forehead with her cap and the makeup came off, revealing a birthmark, Corvington said. Torrez called her own husband and Beck’s husband before confronting Beck, asking her if she had attacked the infant’s mother, the agent said.
Beck told Torrez she found the baby along a road, Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke said.
The district attorney is expected to announce charges against Beck Wednesday morning, Toelke said. (CNN)

Air Force Maj. Jill Metzger, 33, disappeared Tuesday after being separated from a group of servicemen while visiting a department store in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Local police rule out a kidnapping; however, one just does not vanish from a department store.
A U.S. military spokeswoman said Thursday that nothing has been ruled out in the disappearance of an American servicewoman who vanished two days ago, even though the local police chief said she was not kidnapped.
“I rule out the theory that the U.S. citizen may have been kidnapped,” Interior Minister Murat Sutalinov told reporters. He said that police had received no demand for ransom.
However, Capt. Anna Carpenter, a spokeswoman for the U.S. military base in Kyrgyzstan where Metzger is stationed, said “nothing has been ruled out.”
On Thursday The Pentagon formally declared Air Force Maj. Jill Metzger missing.
The Pentagon on Thursday formally declared Metzger missing, a status officially known as “duty status whereabouts unknown,” and disclosed that her normal duty station is Moody Air Force Base, Ga., as a member of the 347th Mission Support Squadron. It said she was on temporary duty in Kyrgyzstan but offered no other details.

Military: Nothing ruled out in officer’s disappearance
Investigators continues to look for missing Air Force Maj. Jill Metzger. Metzger and another US servicewoman were recorded on a security camera on Tuesday afternoon as they entered a department store.
Metzger and another U.S. servicewoman were recorded on a security camera on Tuesday afternoon as they entered the TsUM department store in central Bishkek. She separated from her companion three minutes later, he said.
In the next three hours, two calls were placed to her cell phone but neither was answered; records show that the phone was in the area of Bishkek’s bus station when one call was placed, but was in another neighborhood for a later call, Jangarayev said.

Jill Metzger Update: Kyrgyz Police Consider All Angles
“Police are considering all angles in the case of the missing officer, including personal reasons,” a service spokesman said.
After examining the department store’s videotapes and a list of the officer’s cell phone calls, investigators established that she spent about 10 minutes in the store before leaving through the central entrance. She then made two local calls before her phone was switched off at 8 p.m. local time.

BREAKING: U.S. Air Force major found Alive in Kyrgyzstan
Thank God, Maj. Jill Metzger was found alive. Her family must be overwhelmed with joy.
BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan – A U.S. Air Force officer who disappeared earlier this week in Kyrgyzstan was found alive and returned to the American air base in this Central Asian nation, a U.S. military official said early Saturday.
Maj. Jill Metzger, 33, was located by Kyrgyz law enforcement agents in Bishkek, the capital, where she had last been seen before vanishing during a shopping excursion Tuesday, a spokeswoman for the U.S. base at Bishkek’s airport, Capt. Anna Carpenter, told The Associated Press.
Metzger was found on the side of the road with her head shaven, her father-in-law, Kelly Mayo, said in a telephone interview with the AP from Colorado Springs, Colo.

Missing Air Force Major Found Alive; Jill Metzger Reports She Was Kidnapped Two Days Ago In Kyrgystan
What really happened and how she was abducted. She was abducted by 3 young men and a woman.
Metzger said she had been abducted by three young men and a woman in a minibus and held in a rural area 30 miles from Bishkek, Suvanaliyev told The Associated Press, citing local police in Kant, where he said she approached the first house she came to. He said she looked exhausted and her hair was dyed.
That account differed somewhat from one given by Metzger’s father-in-law, Kelly Mayo, who said in a telephone interview with the AP from Colorado Springs, Colo., that Metzger was found on the side of the road with her head shaved.
Maho said she had also been beaten. “I know she’s coherent, and whoever had her let her go,” said Mayo. “We’ve got her back. Praise the Lord.”
Suvanaliyev said the people who took Metzger in when she knocked on their door called the police.
Mayo said the Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations notified the family Friday afternoon but were given few details. He said his son, Air Force Capt. Joshua Mayo, was elated after being told about his wife.
“I can’t even describe it. He’s just beside himself, just unbelievable joy,” Mayo said.

The details of one of Austria’s most notorious crimes have kept the nation spellbound since Natascha escaped from her abductor, Wolfgang Priklopil. She discusses her story for the first time.
The story of Natascha Kampusch has sparked a media and human interest frenzy the like that has not been seen in Austria. Natascha Kampusch’s tale of being held captive by her abductor Wolfgang Priklopil for 8 years has enticed the curiosity of all. Natascha showed her face for the first time since her escape from her 8 year long captive hell. Natascha dreamed of escaping and fleeing her captivity although she had not planned to the day that she finally did.
The eighteen-year-old said her escape hadn’t been planned that day and that it was a flight of opportunity. She thought about fleeing many times but knew that if her attempt failed she would never come out of the windowless dungeon she was kept in for eight years.
Also, Natascha Kampusch admits that there were several times she dreamed of killing her captor. Is it any wonder with the torment she went through that she did not carry out her thoughts.
“I also had nasty thoughts… Sometimes I dreamt of chopping his head off, if I had an axe,” the teenager told the magazine, but added that the man’s suicide was “a waste” as no one should resort to suicide.
(Sofia News Agency)
Natascha Kampusch would ask herself according to reports why of all people did this happen to her? During her eight year ordeal all she could do was dream of escaping.
Kidnap victim Natascha Kampusch has said all she could think of during her eight-year ordeal was how to escape and despaired when she learned that people believed she was dead.
“I asked myself again and again ‘why among all the million people did this happen to me?’,” Natascha told News magazine.
Priklopil had locked Natascha in the windowless cell in his house in Strasshoff, some 15 miles outside the capital, after abducting her on her way to school in 1998.
“I felt like a chicken in a hen battery,” she said.
“I promised myself that I would never lose the thought of escape.”

I tried to ask for help using my eyes, says kidnapped girl
The Austrian girl who was held captive in an underground cell for eight years has told how she tried in vain to signal for help with her eyes when she met people during occasional outings with her captor.
Last night, Feurstein said: “There were moments in the interview that really gave me the creeps. She told me she made eye contact with people time and again, and wanted to signal them, ‘Please help me’. And nobody reacted.”
(UK Telegraph)
Kampusch Interview “Gave Journalist the Creeps”
Christoph Feurstein, the ORF journalist who landed a career-deciding interview with Austrian abduction escapee Natascha Kampusch said to the BBC that talking to her gave him the creeps.
Kampusch claimed she had made eye-contact with people trying to ask them for help, but no one got her signals. This and other moments in the interview shocked the journalist, and the effect of Kampusch’s words was increased by the fact that she was not disguised or hidden in any way.
