The ex-boyfriend, Billy Joe Cook, of Leslie Adams disputes details included in search warrant

Billy Joe Cook, the ex-boyfriend of Leslie Adams disputes details included in search warrant documents recently made public.

According to search warrant documents, on Oct. 20 Adams went to a Midtown club with a male friend. Cook, who was at the club, tried to start a fight with the man, identified only as David in the documents.

Contacted Tuesday, Cook acknowledged he was at the Midtown club that night but said he did not know Adams was there. And he denied trying to pick a fight with anyone.

“I don’t know David,” he said. “Never seen him before.”

Cook said he went to the club to see a show.

“It was a big concert,” he said. “There were a lot of artists there, so I just wanted to see the concert.”

According to the reports. Adams took out a temporary restraining order against Billy Joe Cook prior to her disappearance.

The search warrant report also said police found blood and a bullet casing in Adams’ apartment after she disappeared. Cook, who Adams had taken out a temporary protection order against in the days before she went missing, denied involvement in her disappearance.

Search turned up blood in Leslie Adams’ apartment

A search of the missing Leslie Adams’ apartment has turned up some evidence that may explain why no one has seen her since late October. Police found a bullet casing and blood in Leslie Adams’ apartment.

In their search of a missing Lilburn woman’s apartment, police reported finding a bullet casing and blood.

The grim details from search warrant documents might help explain why no one has seen or heard from Leslie Adams, 40, since late October. The search warrant for Adams’ Lilburn apartment spells out a cold reality. The warrant application says that police had probable cause to believe that Adams was killed in her apartment.

The warrant was filed Oct. 25, one day after Adams was reported missing by her sister Roberta Adams. Gwinnett County police crime scene technicians investigated the apartment that day.

This is certainly not a good sign.

The items found in the bedroom included a Winchester .45 shell casing, blood samples from the carpet and wood floor and a hair sample from the bed.

Police also found a comforter, flat sheet, fitted sheet and a pillowcase in the dryer and clothing, rags and towels in the washer. On the apartment door, police found a handwritten note.

Gwinnett County police spokesman Darren Moloney said that police are awaiting test results from the GBI on evidence. He had no other comment.

A reward of $25,000 has been offered for information leading to Adams’ return or the conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.

Anyone with information is asked to call Head at 770-513-5300.

Steven Avery Says Teresa Halbach May Still Be Alive

So now Steven Avery plans on playing games with the Halbach family by making wild claims that Teresa Halbach may still be alive. Avery

Steven Avery said he thinks the 25-year-old photographer he’s accused of killing may still be alive.

In another jail house interview, Avery said Teresa Halbach, “Could still be out there.”

Avery claims the case against him is all a set-up.

If this was not so cruel it might be comical. It is instead just hideous. Now the Avery family is setting up a defense fund. Who is their right mind would give to this?

Avery’s family is setting up a defense fund for him. “It will go toward Steven no matter what, 100 percent,” said niece Carla Avery.

“It will be used for cash bail or defense. We are looking into regular attorneys instead of public defenders.”

AP NewsBreak: Avery thinks Halbach may be alive

Instead of just doing the right thing we see where Steven Avery is going with his pseudo-insane act.

“Any person who would have killed Teresa Halbach “ain’t got a right mind,” Avery said. “There is no way I could kill somebody,” he said. “That would be too hard.”

Avery’s Family Stand Behind Him

A day after Steven Avery speaks out from jail, his family echos Steven’s assertion that Teresa Halbach may still be alive.

Dolores Avery, Steven’s mother starts the conversation by claiming her son’s innocence.

Steven Avery’s mother and niece, Carla, are quick to proclaim Steven’s innocence and although they are not quick to admit it, they are taking steps to try to prove he had nothing to do with Teresa Halbach’s disappearance or murder.

It seems to run in the family as Carla Avery, Steven’s niece, went on to say that for all she knew the bone fragments could be sheep bones even though the “State crime lab tests show the bone fragments were that of an adult female and that teeth found were human”.

Leads sought for Diana Gama, Fullerton girl

Diana Gama, 12, a brown-eyed girl with long, black hair parted down the middle, left her family’s Valencia Avenue apartment Wednesday morning on her way to nearby Nicholas Junior High School.

She never arrived.

Hermilo Ocampo Morales, 34, a heavyset man with dark brown eyes and a pencil-thin mustache framing the curve of his upper lip, lived with Salmeron and her extended family for two years.

He left this month, under circumstances that now make Salmeron touch her forehead to the faded oilcloth covering her dining room table and sob with fear.

“I’m terrified of what he may do to her,” she said. “He is not a good man.”

Fullerton police said anyone with information should call (714) 738-6715

Missing Girl, 12 year old Diana Gama, Might Be Pregnant By Mom’s Ex

Diana Gama, a 12 year old girl, is missing. She is pregnant and it is believed that her Diana Gamamothers ex-boyfriend is the father. It is also believed that her mother’s ex-boyfriend Hermilo Morales, 34, is traveling with Diana Gama. (video available)

Anyone with more information about Diana or Morales was asked to call Fullerton police at (714) 738-6715, or the FBI at (310) 477-6565.

The mother of Diana Gama, the 12-year-old girl who is missing from her Fullerton home, told Paul Dandridge Friday morning that the girl is pregnant and her mother’s ex-boyfriend might be the father.

Gama, 12, a student at Nicholas Junior High, reportedly called her mother to tell her she was safe and “where she wanted to be,” said Lieut. John Petropulos of the Fullerton police department.

Gama is believed to be traveling with her mother’s ex-boyfriend Hermilo Morales, 34, who has not shown up for work since the girl was first reported missing.

Laura Eimiller of the FBI said the agency got involved in the case Friday because it had the resources to look for Gama in Chicago, or Mexico, where she might have gone with Morales since he has known family in both locales.

FBI Searches for Girl, 12, in a Possible Kidnapping

The FBI and Fullerton police are investigating the disappearance of a 12-year-old Fullerton girl who has been missing since Wednesday, when she did not come home from school, authorities said Saturday.

FBI officials believe that Diana Karen Gama may have been kidnapped by Hermillo Ocampo Morales, 34, the estranged boyfriend of Diana’s mother. The FBI has obtained a federal warrant for Morales’ arrest, said Laura Eimiller, an FBI spokeswoman in Los Angeles.

“At this point it would be unfair to be speculative about the girl’s motivation, but we feel that he’s obviously taken her away from her family,” Eimiller said Saturday.

Hermillo Ocampo Morales’ car was found in Orange County. The following is a description of Diana Gama and Hermillo Morales:

Diana — 4 feet, 2 inches tall and 100 pounds — has dark hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing faded blue jeans, a white jacket with blue sleeves, and a pink top with a blue stripe.

Morales, who Fullerton police said may have his 11-year-old son with him, is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He also has a mustache, and a gold front tooth, the FBI said.

NBC4: FBI Joins Hunt For Missing Teen From Fullerton

Morales lived with the girl’s mother, Guillermina Salmeron, and the family for almost two years, NBC4 reported. About three weeks ago, the mother asked Morales to leave because she believed he was “mistreating” her daughter, Channel 4 reported.

“You can’t imagine the pain I’m feeling right now, that my daughter would be gone like this,” the girl’s mother said.

About 6 p.m. Thursday, Diana called her mother to say she was OK but was not coming home.

Salmeron, who has four other children, said her daughter told her, “Mommy, I can’t come home, I don’t want to return.”

But she also said she heard Morales’ voice in the background, “telling her what to say, but my daughter’s voice was anguished, and then he cut her off suddenly, yelling. I could tell he was angry.”

“There were no indications that he was a bad person,” Salmeron added. “And I don’t know if my daughter is with him voluntarily or not, and I don’t understand his reasoning why he would take her.”
