We were going to announce that Texas Equusearch was going to organize a search for missing 14 yr old Rachel Corbin in Galveston, TX.
However, we have more important news to report. Rachel Corbin has been found alive! Thanks to the quick response of media in getting Rachel’s information out to the public. She has been taken to an area hospital for an examination to insure she is OK.
This is what its all about folks. The information being disseminated as fast as possible by media sources to the public and the public doing tremendous work in caring enough to keep an eye out for the missing. A tremendous job and a happy ending.

After more than a week since she went missing, 12 year old Mayra Erisuris Sandoval called her parents to tell them she’s OK.
Mayra Erisuris Sandoval, 12, wouldn’t tell her parents where she’s been living, who she’s with or if she’s coming back, but did say she’s safe.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office told the family they believe the girl is in Mexico with a man in his early 20s.
But the parents aren’t sure what to believe.
Detectives now believe Mayra had left for Mexico before the photos were taken, probably the day she disappeared.
Detectives are working with the FBI and immigration to find Mayra and her acquaintance, who is described as a Hispanic male from Sarasota.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Ralph Ortiz at (941) 316-1201 or Crime Stoppers at 366-8477.

UPDATE: Missing girl’s father says he learned of case on radio Trent Reed of Stockton admits to having distant relationship with daughter
This is a tough way to learn of your child’s disappearance but just a reminder of how precious relationships are supposed to be.
LIVERMORE – The father of missing Livermore teen Kayla Reed said he had not been notified of his daughter’s disappearance and only learned of the case when his mother heard it mentioned on the radio.
Trent Reed of Stockton admits to having a distant relationship with 15-year-old Kayla, who disappeared from her home sometime after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, and was reported missing two days later.
Kayla had an account with myspace.com called “take me away”. It was last it was accessed on Dec. 2, the day before she vanished. The title may speck volumes as to what may be behind her disappearance.
Sgt. Jim Conley said that in missing person cases, police generally look for some sort of trail – whether it be credit card purchases or phone calls to follow. “One of the things we do with missing teens is try and track e-mails,” he said. “Many of them have cell phones.”
Kayla, however, did not have a cell phone and has made no attempt to e-mail or call family or friends, officials said.
Talking to the Herald earlier this month, Kayla’s mother said the last time she saw her daughter she suspected Kayla was preparing to go out somewhere. Kayla was sitting in her bedroom with clothes and makeup still on, Sheets said. Sheets went to bed, only to wake up later that morning and find her daughter missing.

As previously reported Luis Pagan was swimming in a strong current while on vacation in Mexico and disappeared. He and a friend were vacationing while on a school break in Puerto Angel, on the Pacific coast.

Former child actor Joe Pichler has been missing for one week. Pichler appeared in two of the “Beethoven” comedies. He appears according to police to have left what police have characterized as a suicide note.
Former child actor Joe Pichler, who appeared in two of the “Beethoven” comedies, has been missing for a week after leaving what police have characterized as a suicide note.
But family members, including Pichler’s mother and oldest sister, say they don’t believe the two pages of poetry and other musings the 18-year-old left in his car was a suicide note.
Police have not been optimistic that Joe Pichler will be found alive.
In a telephone interview Monday from her home in Bremerton, Pichler’s mother, Kathy Pichler, told The Associated Press that police leveled with her early on in the investigation.
She said a detective told her, “I don’t know how to say this to you without sounding really bad, but basically I think your son’s dead and it could take months for him to show up in the water.

Update 2: Former Child Actor Pichler Missing
Kathy Pichler said police released the car to the family without fully processing it for evidence: “They haven’t fingerprinted his car. They sifted through it. They were in his apartment for about three minutes. They’ve done nothing.”
Davis said he believed the car had been dusted for fingerprints, but couldn’t say for sure because he was alone in the office and the investigators’ report was not available Monday.
“We have done just about all we can do,” the detective said.
