Natascha Kampusch was ten when she was kidnapped on her way to school Natascha was then imprisoned in a tiny pit dug into the garage floor of her captor’s. What is only more unbelievable than Natascha’s story of being held as a sex slave is her dramatic escape and the fact that she is alive after all this time.

Natascha Kampusch, who was ten when she was kidnapped on her way to school, was imprisoned in a tiny pit dug into the floor of her captor’s garage.
Natascha told officers she was kept as a sex slave in a tiny windowless cell behind a heavy metal gate. She was forced to call her captor ‘Gebiete’ – an old-fashioned term for ‘Master’ used in fairy stories.
Initially, it was reported that she had escaped from Priklopil’s car when his BMW was stopped for a routine police check.
But it emerged that she had fled from his two-storey house in Strasshof near Vienna and was found by an elderly woman. Police quickly raided the property, finding Natascha’s passport and her tiny cell. Priklopil had already fled after discovering she was missing.

The Levi’s Call issued on Friday evening for a 4-year-old girl missing, and thought to be abducted after her mother was found dead in Norcross, was canceled early Saturday morning.

According to Gwinnett County Police, they stopped the vehicle on Buford Highway near Langford Road in Norcross.

As police commanded the driver to exit the vehicle, the male abductor pulled a hand gun and shot himself, committing suicide. The girl was unharmed. A fitting and safe end to a terrible ordeal.

Fernando Pascual, 22, of North Fort Meyers was sentenced to 10 years in prison for harboring a 13 year old Guatemalan girl as a sex slave and housekeeper. Also charged were Pascual, his sister, Matilde Pascual Andres, and Andres’ husband, Pascual Miguel Sebastian.
A U-S district judge sentenced 22-year-old Fernando Pascual Tuesday. As part of a plea deal, Pascual pleaded guilty in March to charges of sex trafficking and harboring an illegal immigrant for commercial gain. His sentence of ten years was in exchange for the victim not having to testify.
Pascual, his sister, Matilde Pascual Andres, and Andres’ husband, Pascual Miguel Sebastian, were charged in May 2005 with harboring a young girl in a Cape Coral home.
Prosecutors said the girl was bought in Guatemala and brought to Cape Coral, where she was raped, beaten and forced to work.

Craig Roger Gregerson, you belong in the 7th circle of Hell for what you did to 5 year old Destiny Norton. Who knew that with crimes against children that consist of rape, molestation and murder that there would be levels of severity?
There is actually no punishment that we have in the present US justice system that would be acceptable. For you Craig Roger Gregerson I would actually bring back public stoning for just one day. Laws and punishments were not made with such sick human beings like yourself.
Gregerson’s mother-in-law also made it clear that she hopes justice is done, and that Destiny’s accused killer goes away for good.
“I hope he never sees the light of day again… outside of prison.” – Gregerson’s mother-in-law

As Destiny Norton’s funeral takes place today at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS church, Craig Roger Gregerson was charged Friday with crimes against 5 year old Destiny Norton that are unspeakable.
To send your condolences to the family click here.
Gregerson remains in the Salt Lake County Jail where he is being held on a $5 million dollar bond for multiple counts against 5 year old Destiny. According to the Court Documents, what Gregerson did defies belief”
Count I. Criminal Homicide:
- Craig Roger Gregerson intentionally and knowingly cause the death of Destiny Norton
- The defendant committed the crime of abuse or desecration of a dead human body in that the defendant committed or attempted to commit upon the dead human body of DN any act of sexual penetration.
Count II. Child Kidnapping in the first degree.
Press Statement from Salt Lake City District Attorney
The Press statement includes the cause of death as reported by the medical examiner.
Todd Grey, Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Utah, performed an autopsy on Destiny’s body on July 25, 2006. Dr Grey observed on her body consistent with post-mortem vaginal penetration. Dr Grey opined that the manner of Destiny’s death was homicide and that the cause of death was consistent with smothering.
At some point one has to wonder what we can do to rid our society of such individuals. Calling them animals would be a disservice to actual animals everywhere. It is unimaginable that they walk among us.

This is all about children. It tells children in our country that they are precious and are cared about — even though they don’t have any money, or vote or lobby — that we will take care of them.” (Reve Walsh)
Today, 25th anniversary of Adam Walsh’s abduction and murder, President George W. Bush signed the “Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act” into law in a special Rose Garden event. This ground breaking law will finally put teeth in the fight against child sexual predators. It is about time that the United States take this epidemic seriously. All too often offenses against children were brushed aside as “children do not vote”. However, the abduction, sexual exploitation, rape and murder of children has come to the forefront of the American conscience. Congratulations John Walsh … you are a hero to so many for your endless work for the protection of children.
The transcript from President George W. Bush regarding H.R. 4472, the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006
Fact Sheet: The Adam Walsh Child Protection And Safety Act Of 2006
A thank you from John Walsh and his family.
This is an incredible week for myself and my family and other parents of murdered or missing children.
I want to thank all of you who have supported us to make sure this bill got to the President.
I’m elated that we finally have a piece of child protection legislation at the federal level that will truly make a difference.
(The rest of his comments …)
H.R. 4472 Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act
From the Rose Garden President George W. Bush went on to say:
“Our nation grieves with every family that’s suffered the unbearable pain of a child whose been abducted or abused,” Bush said in a bill-signing ceremony in the Rose Garden. “This law takes an important step forward in this country’s efforts to protect those who cannot protect themselves.”
The Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act will find more than 100,000 sex offenders by creating the first national on-line listing available to the public and searchable by ZIP code. The Child advocates have called the bill the most sweeping sex offender legislation to target pedophiles in years. Unfortunately the ACLU will call it discriminatory or their next crusade. The new law will allow the following:
—Establish a comprehensive federal DNA database of material collected from convicted molesters, and procedures for the routine DNA collection and comparison to the database when someone has been convicted of such an offense.
—Provide federal funding for states to track pedophiles using global positioning devices.
—Allow victims of child abuse to sue their molesters.
The law imposes a mandatory minimum sentence of 30 years for raping a child; a mandatory 10-year penalty for sex trafficking offenses involving children and for coercing child prostitution; and increases minimum sentences for molesters who travel between states.
It is hard to imagine that the penalty is greater for illegally downloading songs off the internet than images of children. Even Democrat and former Presidential Candidate John Kerry is on board with President Bush on this one. Please do not waffle of this one Senator Kerry, our children’s safety is too important to be politicized. I congratulate the Senator from Massachusetts and all those who joined the President on this important legislation.
“It’s an absolute outrage that the penalty for downloading songs illegally off the Internet was three times the penalty for downloading disgusting images of children,” Kerry said. “We need to do everything we can to end the disgrace of child pornography. This is a start.”

Just when we are told that illegal aliens only want to do the jobs that most Americans do not want to do we hear stories like this. An 18 year old is in stable condition after being run off the road in Central TX, raped and assaulted. Wilson said Javier Guzman Martinez, 17, and Noel Darwin Hernandez, 22, both of Mexia, had been arrested for the crime. Let’s hope we do not get a brilliant judge that will allow bail, think they might be a flight risk?
The 18-year-old woman was in stable condition Thursday following surgery. She had walked and crawled a half-mile to find help after her abductors left her for dead along a highway early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The woman told investigators she was driving at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on a state highway toward her home in a Limestone County town when a car rammed her sport utility vehicle and forced her off the road, Wilson said.
The woman told investigators that the men forced her into their car, and then drove around rural county roads while they sexually assaulted, stabbed and beat her, Wilson said.
The woman said the men left her about a mile south of Coolidge in a ditch, where she pretended to be dead until they left, Wilson said. She then found help at a nearby trailer.
All illegals are not here for the noble reasons of wanting jobs and sending monies back to Mexico. That is a bad element in all populations. This evil percentage happens to be moving around under the radar. Are these the people we want in our country? Think they will ever sign up for these so-called amnesty plans that are floated? There is a long line of crimes committed by illegals … it is bad enough we have to deal with our own US citizens when it comes to crimes, but illegals as well?
Martinez was being held in the Limestone County Jail while Hernandez was to be transferred to Limestone County from McLennan County, officials said. Wilson said both men are apparently in the United States illegally and will be held without bond on immigration charges. Hernandez is from Honduras, and Martinez is from Mexico, Wilson said.

The US military has only said the soldiers are missing after an attack on a US military checkpoint near Yousifiya, southwest of the capital Bagdad, Iraq on Friday. As politicians in Washington play games with ridiculous notions of announcing troop withdrawals in Iraq, our soldiers face real life situations every day. Now, brothers in arms look for their missing comrades.
The Defense Department identified the missing men as Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore. It said Spc. David J. Babineau, 25, Springfield, Mass., was killed in the attack. The three were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.

Missing GIs Likely Taken Captive, Iraqi Official Says
BAGHDAD, June 18 — Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said Sunday that two U.S. soldiers missing after an insurgent attack south of Baghdad appeared to have been taken captive, while U.S. troops searched for their comrades for a second day.

UPDATE: Al Qaeda-Linked Group Claims Kidnapping of GIs
BAGHDAD, Iraq — An Al Qaeda-linked group claimed Monday that it had kidnapped two American soldiers reported missing south of Baghdad, where 8,000 Iraqi and U.S. troops were conducting a massive search.
The umbrella group, called the Mujahedeen Shura Council, said it was holding the two privates — one from Texas and the other from Oregon — as well as four Russian diplomats kidnapped June 3 in Baghdad. It also claimed to have killed a fifth Russian.

Relatives of Missing Soldier Hope for His Return
His family is now hoping for the 23-year-old Houston soldier’s safe return after learning he was one of two servicemen missing in Iraq after an insurgent attack.
Kay Fristad, an Oregon National Guard spokeswoman, said she had a brief conversation with Tucker’s parents and they said he joined the military “to do something positive for the country.”
Menchaca’s wife, 18-year-old Christina Menchaca, of Big Spring, Texas, said military representatives told her Saturday they were taking “every means possible to find him,” she said.
“We’re basically just watching the news because no one else knows anything about it, no one has heard anything about it,” she said. “We’re just going by what the news has to say.”
Christina Menchaca said she married her husband in September and he deployed in October. The couple met through her brother, who served in the military with Kristian Menchaca.

Thousands search in Iraq for 2 missing U.S. soldiers; rebels say they have them
The Mujahedeen Shura Council is a grouping of several insurgent forces, including “al-Qaida in Iraq.” Insurgent leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, recently killed in a U.S. air strike, helped create the council in January, apparently to give an Iraqi face to his movement, made up mainly of foreign fighters.
In the posting, the council taunted U.S. forces for failing to find the Americans. (Canada.com)
UPDATE: Iraq Official: U.S. Soldiers’ Bodies Found
The unfortunate but expected outcome has been realized for the two brave US soldiers that were missing in Iraq. The bodies of Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, OR were found on a street near the town Youssifiyah, close to the scene of the attack.
The bodies of two U.S. soldiers have been found, and a senior Iraqi military official said Tuesday they belong to men who went missing last week after a deadly insurgent attack on a traffic checkpoint.
At a news briefing, U.S. Maj. Gen. William Caldwell declined to identify the men until their families can be notified.

The reward for information regarding Michelle Bullard was increased to $10,000 on Saturday. The authorities and family ask the public for your help.
“We know somebody out there knows something,” said Amanda Cristello, Bullard’s cousin. “If they can’t come forward out of the goodness of their heart, maybe they’ll come forward to collect the reward money.”
Karen Riojas, Bullard’s mother, offered a personal plea.
“You can remain anonymous. You do not have to tell your name,” she said. “Michelle, if you can hear me, we love you. We miss you, and we need you back home, baby. I’m not going to let this go.”

Illinois Authorities cancelled an Amber alert issued for a 5-year-old girl who was kidnapped by her grandmother late Sunday.
Makayla Christy was found unharmed with her grandmother about 8:40 a.m. in a motel in the outskirts of Granite City, Ill., where she’d been taken from her mother the previous evening.
The 44-year-old grandmother, Deborah McFadden, was being interviewed by authorities and may face kidnapping charges, police said.
Authorities initially believed she was heading for Texas because she drove away with Makayla in a Mercury Sable bearing a Texas license number.
“We traced the call to a motel and found them there,” Miller said. “We arrested the grandmother and returned the girl to her mother.”
