Sadly, the body of Wyatt Smitsky was found on Saturday stuffed in a septic tank. Police say the boy’s body was found around 12:45 p.m. Saturday after searchers drained a septic tank on property near his home in Greene Township, Beaver County, PA.
Police have described the case as a homicide and have a suspect in custody.
Authorities in western Pennsylvania say the body of a missing 4-year-old boy has been found stuffed in a septic tank. A suspect is in custody.
State police in Beaver County said Wyatt Smitsky was last seen outside his family’s Greene Township home shortly after 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Trooper Robert Lagoon says a septic tank on a neighboring property was drained Saturday and the boy’s body was found. He says authorities “have a known suspect and anticipate filing charges.”
An autopsy has been set for Sunday.

52 year old Mark Ginn had been missing since April 14, 2008. He was last seen driving a 1996 bronze Jeep Grand Cherokee with license plate number 255 HEN. The FBI became involved in the case and was searching for Ginn.
WLBT has learned why the FBI is involved. Sources confirm there is an ongoing investigation concerning Ginn’s employment with BankPlus in Byram.
The probe is focused on suspicious activity at the bank. BankPlus officials would not comment. However, an official with the Byram branch earlier said that they could neither confirm nor deny any money is missing from the bank and they are cooperating with authorities.
Search Continues for Missing Byram Man
Ginn: Missing person or fugitive?
Not long after that, Ginn vanished.
Footage from a local Home Depot showed him buying a hose and duct tape, which led to initial speculation he planned to use these items to use his car to asphyxiate himself.
Authorities have since wondered if he made the purchases to trick them into thinking he committed suicide.
A week after Ginn vanished, the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department enlisted help from the FBI, which investigates embezzlement and other crimes against banks insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
The department also received help from the U.S. Marshals Service, which specializes in searching for fugitives.
Rumors swirled that Ginn may be on the Caribbean island of Barbados, but if authorities know where he is, they aren’t saying.
They believe Ginn is alive and have publicly ruled out foul play.
UPDATE I: Ginn Missing Person Case May Now Be Classified As Criminal Investigation
WLBT has learned a Jackson business owner may be the victim of some fraudulent loan activity by Ginn. As WLBT first reported, the FBI is investigating suspicious transactions at the bank where the 52-year-old Ginn was employed.
Sources tell us Warren Logan, the owner of this business, Graves Auto Electric on Highway 80 West, recently discovered two separate 50-thousand dollar loans on property he owns…loans he apparently did not seek.
UPDATE II: Vehicle of Mark Ginn Found Sunday with Body Inside
The 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee belonging to missing 52 year old Mark Ginn was found Sunday be two people in a rural area north of Hinds County.
After 34 days with no sign of Mark Ginn or his vehicle, the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department receives a surprising phone call. Two people found Ginn’s 1996 bronze Jeep Grand Cherokee in a heavily wooded area on private property near the intersection of Johnson Line and Cox Ferry Roads. That’s in rural Hinds County, 11 miles west of Flora. A body was inside the vehicle. Sources tell WLBT, the body was wearing the same clothes Ginn was last seen in. The Sheriff’s Department can not confirm if it is Ginn until a medical pathologist identifies the body.
The jeep was found less than 20 miles away from where Ginn was last seen driving in Clinton. He had undergone open heart surgery two weeks before his disappearance. Those close to Ginn feared it may have been a factor.
An unidentified body was also found in the vehicle. Hinds County Sheriff’s Department Captain Steve Pickett said the body is now at the State Crime Lab where a medical pathologist will make the identification.
UPDATE III: Autopsy May Determine If Body Is That Of Mark Ginn
Even though the body has not yet been positively identified, it looks like the family considers it strictly a formality. Funeral arrangements have been made for Mark Ginn after finding his vehicle with a body inside. Family members obviously feel that it is Mark Ginn.

Brianna Denison has been missing since January 20, 2008 when she was abducted by a serial rapist linked by DNA to a string of attacks near the University of Nevada, Reno campus. It now appears that a female body has been found and removed about 4:30 p.m. and taken to the Washoe County Coroner’s Office.
RENO, Nev. (AP) – Dozens of police officers searched for evidence in a field where the body of a woman was found Friday but declined to speculate whether it was that of Brianna Denison, a 19-year-old college student missing since she was abducted nearly a month ago.
A worker found the body about noon in a brush-covered field on the city’s south side near a light industrial area, Reno police spokesman Steve Frady said.
“There has been a lot of speculation, a lot of rumor about a possible connection with the disappearance of Brianna Denison. At this point we have no information to link that case with this one,” Frady said at a briefing.
About 45 law enforcement and crime lab personnel, including three FBI agents, remained at the scene before night fell.
Frady said the time and cause of death would be determined by an autopsy scheduled Saturday. Authorities have “no ID, not even a tentative ID,” he said.
UPDATE I: Body found in southeast Reno being moved
Authorities are moving the body of a woman found today in southeast Reno.
Spokesman Steve Frady earlier refused to comment on whether the investigation into the dead body is related to the abduction of Brianna Denison.
FOX NEWS: Is Body Found that of Missing Brianna Denison?
UPDATE II: Autopsy to Tell if Body Is Missing Reno Kidnap Victim, Brianna Denison
A worker found the woman’s body about noon Friday in a brush-covered field on the city’s south side near a light industrial area. The field is about eight miles south of the house near the University of Nevada, Reno campus where Denison was last seen in the early morning hours of Jan. 20.
“There has been a lot of speculation, a lot of rumor about a possible connection with the disappearance of Brianna Denison. At this point we have no information to link that case with this one,” Reno police spokesman Steve Frady said.
UPDATE III: Female Body ID’d as that of Missing Brianna Denison
RENO, Nev. — Police say the body of a woman found in a field in Reno is that of a college student missing since she was abducted nearly a month ago.
The body of 19-year-old Brianna Denison was discovered Friday in a grown-over lot by a business park on the city’s south side. Police confirmed Saturday that the body was hers.
Autopsy results confirm that body is that of missing teen Brianna Denison
Reno Police confirm that the body found Friday in South Reno is that of missing Reno teen Brianna Denison.
Police say that Denison was strangled to death, and her body had been in South Reno for at least a week.
In a press conference, Police say they believe Denison’s kidnapper and murderer is still in the Reno area. They also believe he is a serial rapist. Police found DNA evidence at the scene of the crime that they say links the suspect to other sexual assaults near the UNR campus.
They describe the suspect as white man with light brown/dirty blonde hair. He is 5’8” to 5′ 10” with a slender to medium build. The victim said the suspect was wearing a dark hooded pull over sweat shirt with no zippers or markings, athletic type nylon silver sweat pants with black stripes, and white tennis shoes.

Police did not comment much on that man, but said they were interested in talking to him.
“I do believe that she is alive and we just have to find her,” said Lehia Franklin Cox, Nailah’s sister. “I do think she is in distress.”
Police visited Franklin’s University Village apartment in the 1500 block of South Sangamon Street. Thursday night, Elgas reported, and Franklin Cox said several personal items were missing.

The car of missing 28 year old Nailah Franklin has been found across state lines in Hammond, Indiana.
Divers searched a pond at River Oaks Golf Course near the Bishop Ford Freeway and 159th Street in Calumet City Saturday morning as part of their efforts to find Nailah Franklin, a drug company pharmaceutical sales representative, after police located her car a short distance away in Hammond, Indiana, on Friday night.

Family: Missing Lilly rep’s body found near Chicago
UPDATE VIII: Body found but answers still missing
Her naked body was found before dawn Thursday in a densely wooded area partially buried behind a vacant building, within miles of where police found her car Saturday in nearby Hammond. A pair of earphones dangling in a tree led two police officers to her body.
An autopsy performed Friday by the Cook County medical examiner’s office did not reveal a cause of death. Chicago police, who have not ruled the case a homicide, remain the lead investigators because authorities don’t know where she died.
Her body, badly decomposed after being exposed to rain and heat, had to be identified through dental records Friday morning. But a law enforcement source said she was not shot or stabbed.
Police said they are pursuing leads in Franklin’s death. They are testing forensic evidence from her body and vehicle and reviewing surveillance video taken from across the street where Franklin’s body was found. (

The body of 26 year old, 9 month pregnant Jessie Davis was found in June 24, 2007 along with her full term fetus. It is believed by authorities that Jessie Davis was killed in her home near North Canton on June 14. However, the Summit County Medical Examiner ruled Jessie Davis’ death a homicide; however, she could not determine the exact cause of death.
Summit County Medical Examiner Lisa Kohler ruled that the manner of death was a homicide but offered no other details in a news release.
“Based on our examination of the remains, as well as consideration of supplemental laboratory testing and investigative findings, her cause of death will be listed as unspecified homicidal violence,” Kohler said.
Investigators previously stated that the advanced decomposition of the body would make determining a cause difficult. (Fox News)
Bobby Cutts Jr. has been charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of Davis and her unborn child.

A more detailed picture emerges in the Nolan case
One seriously has to wonder why discussing one’s past and trying to possibly tarnish a missing person past has anything to do with finding them. If a person is troubled or has gone through traumatic experiences, is that supposed to make them any less worthy to be found? Kelly Nolan is missing PERIOD!!! She needs to be found.

Former KIRO radio talk show host Mike Webb has been missing since April, 2007. This afternoon a badly decomposed body was found at Webb’s rental house. According to police the body was so badly decomposed they could not determine sex, age or race.
A severely decomposed body was found this afternoon at the rental home of former KIRO radio talk-show host Mike Webb, who has been missing since April.
A property manager found the body shortly before 3 p.m. at the home in the 2500 block of 3rd Avenue W., according to police. The body was so decomposed that investigators were unable to immediately determine its sex, age or race, said Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel. Police wouldn’t say where in the home the body was found. (Seattle Times)
One would naturally ask the question, why wasn’t the house searched if Mike Webb was missing? According to police they were not allowed to enter. Wouldn’t one think that the stench from the home of a decomposing body and the fact that Webb was considered missing would make entering a home legal?
He said officers had previously been to the home as part of that investigation, but could not legally enter.
UPDATE: Radio host Mike Webb stabbed to death
The King County Medical Examiner’s office has confirmed that Mike Webb died of multiple stab wounds sometime after April 13. The death of the liberal radio host now is being investigated as a homicide.
Seattle police crime scene investigators and homicide detectives were combing the house Webb had rented for 14 years in the 2500 block of Third Avenue West.
Assistant Chief Nick Metz, head of the department’s investigations division, said a property manager discovered the badly decomposed body Thursday afternoon.
In the days following his disappearance, Webb’s family members received several text messages from Webb’s cell phone but did not speak with him, according to police documents. (Seattle PI)
Human remains found at Seattle home of missing radio talk show host
Investigators were trying to determine whether the body had been moved to the house, Metz said. Several people – including missing-person investigators and Webb’s family – had been to the house in the months since the liberal radio host vanished.
Officers last examined the home within the past two weeks, police spokesman Jeff Kappel said. It was unclear whether officers entered the home at that time.
Metz declined to divulge details about where the body was found. But he did say that, when those details are publicized, the reasons why the body was not located earlier will be clear.

Former LSU Tiger defensive end and present day New England Patriot, Marquise Hill had been reported missing since Sunday night when he did not return from recreational activities on Lake Pontchartrain. Hill was reported missing after a jet ski accident.
Today his body was found Monday in Lake Pontchartrain after what is reported as being a jet ski accident. What a tragic incident and a life cut so short.
“The family will have to make positive identification,” Capt. Brian Clark of the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Department said. “But the body we found was that of Mr. Marquise Hill.”
The body was discovered about a quarter-mile from where Hill and a female companion were involved in the accident, Clark said.
The Coast Guard was called Sunday night, Petty Officer Tom Atkeson said. The search began immediately, using boats and helicopters.
By the time the body was found, the Coast Guard, Wildlife and Fisheries, the New Orleans Police Department and Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Department were involved, Clark said. (Fox News)
The owner of the New England Patriots Bob Craft made the following comment, We are all shocked.” Hill played on the LSU national Championship team and was a second round draft pick of the Patriots. God bless and rest in peace.
Update I: Patriots’ Hill mourned as ‘a hero until the end’
The death of New England Patriots defensive end Marquise Hill, who fell off a personal watercraft Sunday in Lake Pontchartrain, was ruled an accidental drowning Tuesday.
An autopsy found no signs of drug or alcohol in Hill’s body, although more tests are planned and will take two weeks to complete, said Orleans Parish coroner Dr. Frank Minyard.
