Hans Reiser,Linux Filesystem Creator, Held in Murder of Wife Nina Reiser as Reward stands at $25,000
Hans Reiser is being held without bond as even with no body, police have enough circumstantial evidence to keep him locked up. Amazing that murder crimes make strange bed fellows as one of Reiser’s attorneys is Daniel Horowitz. Howrowitz’s own wife was murdered last year.
Reiser, 42, is being held without bail in the Santa Rita jail in California pending a hearing on November 28, when he is supposed to enter a plea. His lawyers, who now include Daniel Horowitz, whose own wife was murdered last year in a highly publicized case, said they delayed entering a plea so they could review the evidence against him.
The cops don’t have a body, only circumstantial evidence, but enough to lock Reiser up. According to a police statement, “We interviewed a host of individuals. All avenues led back to Mr. Reiser being responsible for the death and disappearance of Ms. Nina Reiser.” (Open Source Magazine)
The reward for information leading to the location of the missing Nina Reiser has increased from $15,000 to $25,000.

Actually, I am a bit ashamed that Mr. Horowitz would choose
this case to come out after the recent tragic murder of his
lovely, charming wife. I was rather hoping that he would
change his way of thinking and fight one for the gipper.
Afterall, you never know the pain, unless you experience it.
I wonder if he’ll truly stick it out to the end. You would
think that he would be tiring of murder and the people who
commit it.
Besides, I don’t think that he necessarily needs the money. Have you seen how many books he’s had published???
He is a professor in history at some big fancy university.
Fer us just plain folks, we would like one o’ dem ol’ time,
get the bad guy no matter the cost, type of guys. Oh well,

I suppose that there may be alot of reasons. Perhaps she
left the coffee pot running for too long. Or perhaps she
didn’t go get a manicure enough… or maybe it was because
she wasn’t mentally challenging….?.?.?.?.?
Whatever the reason … you don’t come up with someone’s
blood in your car, with the seat laid back – or excuse me
all the way removed !!! with out a very good excuse.
And what other evidence is there????

And blood on a sleeping bag – which seems logical as the
man could not very well have ran down the road with his

you may be in for a big suprise…… Oh, well, it just may
prove interesting.
I agree with Orville, I’d like some plain, old fashioned
justice with a capital J. Enough of the “We know he did
it; but for entertainment, we’re gonna see if this guy can
get him off,” cause we’ve all seen THAT one before. And to
be quite honest with you, Mr. Horowitz, we are sick of it.
Besides, I want to know what he was doing with all those
fancy gadgets, anyway. Is that too much for the American
people to ask ?????
Plus…. I want to know if he met up with any old-time
buddies while he was in the joint !!@#$%$#@!!
Gee, maybe Daniel will play the two-are-better-than-one

So tell me please, this country, land of the free, all are guilty before proven inocent. This mans life is on the line yet you make it gossip and judge without justice. Mr. Horawitz has lost his wife and still represents those who have lost everything in thier lives, reliving this tragic nightmare over and over. I honestly do not believe that money was an issue. My husband was tortured and murdered on June 5, 2005, and everyone in my life reacted just as you are. Some sick joke. Could it be, just maybe, there is corruption within law enforcement? I do not believe we are to make God proud when instead of helping eachother through time of need, we instead critisize the wounded. FORGIVE THEM FATHER, THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO.
