According to The New York Post, the relationship of Kara Beth Borden and David Ludwig was a bit more than on line chatting. They are claiming that the two were sending photos of each other on-line to each other. Although this may have taken place it in no way determines that Kara Beth Border was anything more than a victim in a kidnapping after her parents were murdered rather than an accomplice as some claim.
One state trooper described Kara as running from Ludwig’s car crying and frantic — not the likely actions of a co-conspirator. The investigation will consider information from Kara’s siblings and a review of her e-mails, instant messages, and interviews of her friends who might know of her relationship with Ludwig. Ludwig will of course be interviewed and eventually returned to Pennsylvania to face murder charges. What role, if any, Kara Borden played in this horrific crime has yet to be determined.
November 16, 2005 — They were two home-schooled Christian teens desperate to keep secret a steamy love affair that included swapping nude photos of each other over the computer.
Kara Beth Borden, 14, and her illicit 18-year-old lover, David Ludwig, were so desperate, cops say, that Ludwig killed Borden’s parents after they objected to her increasingly serious relationship with him.
Before the grisly slayings, Borden stubbornly ignored warnings from a close pal that her beau could go to jail for statutory rape if anyone found out.
Ludwig’s close friend, Samuel Lohr, 19, said in the affidavit that the pair were having “a secret, intimate relationship of a sexual nature.”
“They exchanged inappropriate images of one another via the electronic media — computers and cellphones,” Lohr told police.
According to report Jeffries made a comment in a conversation on Kara’s Web site on xanga.com, a site popular with teens.
“You’re 14, he’s 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Jeffries wrote.
(Full on-line conversation)
Many have questioned whether Kara Beth Borden was a victim or accomplice in the horrific murder of her parents. However, According to officers at the scene the other day when the couple’s car crashed into a tree and the chase came to an end, “Kara as running from Ludwig’s car crying and frantic.”

Steve Avery was was charged Tuesday with killing and mutilating a freelance photographer, Teresa Halbach, who had an appointment with him the last day she was seen. According to authorities, the gruesome findings by searchers of the Avery Salvage property yielded human teeth and bones in a burn pit behind Steven Avery’s garage.
Preliminary results Tuesday identified the remains as Halbach’s, according to a criminal complaint charging Avery with first-degree intentional homicide and mutilation of a corpse.
Authorities believe the charred remains are all that’s left of the 25-year-old Calumet County woman, who vanished Oct. 31 after going to the Avery family’s auto salvage business to photograph a minivan for sale for Auto Trader Magazine. Halbach’s family members later found her sport utility vehicle at the salvage yard.
Steven Avery appeared before the County Circuit Court where bail was set in the amount of $500,000 and the homicide charge carries a mandatory life in prison sentence.
Avery appeared in Manitowoc County Circuit Court on Tuesday, when Judge Patrick Willis set bail at $500,000 cash and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Dec. 6 on the homicide and mutilation charges.
Avery, dressed in black-and-white prison clothes, looked straight ahead and said nothing during the 12-minute hearing, which did not cover the weapons charge. The judge set a tentative status conference Monday on that case.
The homicide charge carries a mandatory life in prison sentence, while the mutilation charge carries up to 12 1/2 years in prison and $25,000 in fines. Wisconsin does not have the death penalty.
Avery has repeatedly told reporters he believes he is being set up because of his pending $36 million lawsuit against Manitowoc County for his wrongful conviction.
As Steven Avery proclaims his innocence and states he was set up as his blood was found in Teresa Halbach’s vehicle, Avery’s family also acts just as strangely and are in a world of denial. The Avery Salvage Yard is open for business and the family is just going to throw themselves in to work. After what just occurred there?
Steven Avery’s father and brother threw themselves into their work, trying to get caught up after losing a weeks worth of business.
Steven Avery’s father, Allen, talked of his frustration and anger from inside his business office.
“All I can tell you is that it did not happen on Avery property. That’s if it happened and I don’t believe it happened.”
The idea that all this gruesome evidence that was found on the Avery property was planted as Steven Avery states is simply appalling. However, what else would one think he would say trying to capitalize on his previous improper incarceration.

According to the AP David G. Ludwig, who allegedly killed Michael F. and Cathryn Lee Borden, and Kara Beth Borden spotted at Pennsylvania truck stop Monday morning, but were not caught.
LITITZ, Pa. – A missing 14-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man who allegedly murdered her parents were spotted at a central Pennsylvania truck stop Monday morning, but were not caught, police said.
A worker at the truck stop told The Associated Press the girl appeared to have been crying.
From the reports by witnesses who positively identified Kara Beth Borden at the truck stop; it appeared that Kara Beth Borden had been crying which could show the danger that she may be in. She may have taken against her will rather than as some have speculated that she may be a willing participant in running off with David G. Ludwig.
Lititz Police Chief William Seace said Monday afternoon that Ludwig and Kara Beth, who is believed to be Ludwig’s girlfriend, had been “positively identified” at a truck stop in Lamar, about 90 miles from the Borden home.
Amanda Workman, the shift manager at the Subway sandwich shop at the truck stop, said she sold the couple an Italian sub at about 9 a.m. Monday, and thought they matched a radio description she had heard earlier.
“Her face was all puffy, her eyes were puffy,” Workman told The Associated Press. “You could tell she was crying.”
She said they paid cash and had apparently made another purchase from a different part of the truck stop.
“They were really shady. They didn’t want to talk a lot. They just ordered their sandwich and left,” Workman said.
Borden had her hair in a ponytail and appeared to be crying, Seace said. Ludwig has cut his hair to a length of about one inch, he said.
