There have been no new developments in the search for missing 12-year-old Teketria Buggs which prompted Darryl Phillips of the Texas EquuSearch Mounted Search and Recovery Team on Sunday night to called off the full-force active search for the missing girl.
“Last night we called a meeting and talked with the family to let them know we were going to stop the search,” Phillips said. “But we’re still out here evaluating what we did and what we need to do to see if we’ve missed anything. We’ve just stepped aside for now, and we’re waiting until more information comes in that we could look into.”
However, according to EquuSearch this does not signify the end of the search but only a chance to regroup and weigh their options. They still plan to put boats in the water and await any further leads to investigate.
Phillips said although the ground search has slowed down, the team still plans on putting boats back in the water on Tuesday to continue searching for Buggs, and a few teams on four-wheelers will be out searching the area Monday.
“We haven’t been able to find anything. Right now, we’re just playing it by ear and following any leads that may come in,” Phillips said.

The search continues for a Mayde Creek High School graduate, Nathanial Philip
Hendrickson, who has been missing for almost two weeks.
Hendrickson left all of his belongings in his room including a cell phone and wallet, and apparently, drove off in his Teal 2000 Nissan Sentra.
His vehicle, which was parked near the home that day, also vanished.
Hendrickson is a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6’2” and weighs 180 pounds. The vehicle’s license plate number is L76DKL. Any leads can be pitched to Finkelman and the Spring Valley Police at (713) 465-8323 or Huston or Tim Miller at Texas EquuSearch (713) 582-9859.

Jill Begora, the Canadian woman who went missing from a cruise ship near the Bahamas still hasn’t been found. Begora is a resident of Victoria, B.C.
Begora went missing on the last night of an eight night Caribbean Cruise Lines vacation. Her husband Dennis Begora, formerly a dentist in St. Catharines, Ontario, last saw her at about 9 a.m. on Saturday. He reported her missing when the ship arrived in port at the Bahamian capital, Nassau at about 1 p.m.
The ship had come from Antigua, an eastern Caribbean island, and officials believe Begora may have gone overboard in the Bahamas.
Fran Cooperman-Pfaff, a Victoria resident and Begora’s best friend had some interesting comments to say regarding Begora.

“I’m feeling devastated and incredibly sad that this woman is just not going to be here anymore,” said Cooperman-Pfaff.
Recently the family of a man who may have been murdered on a cruise filed a lawsuit against the Caribbean Cruise Lines. But Cooperman-Pfaff doesn’t suspect foul play is involved in her friend’s disappearance. She said Begora suffered from a lifetime of depression.
“There’s something very mesmerizing about the water and you just wonder if someone who is going through a difficult time would just go over,” said Cooperman-Pfaff, but added that the uncertainty surrounding her friend’s disappearance is the hardest part for her to deal with.
“Not knowing what happened is the most difficult part of it,” Cooperman-Pfaff said. “If we could find out more details we could be a lot more settled.”

Authorities have dropped the weapons possession charge against Ben Fawley; however, he remain in jail on 16 child-pornography charges that police say are unrelated to Behl’s disappearance.
Authorities have dropped the weapons charge against Ben Fawley, the main suspect in the death of Virginia Commonwealth University freshman Taylor Marie Behl. Fawley was to have appeared in Richmond Circuit Court today on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon. Prosecutors recently decided not to go ahead with that case.

There appears to be another cruise ship missing person’s case. This time on Royal Caribbean’s “Jewel of the Seas”. Jill Begora, a 59 year old Canadian, was reported missing by her husband Saturday morning.
Jill Begora, 59, was reported missing by her husband Saturday morning as the Royal Caribbean cruise ship ”Jewel of the Seas” pulled into Nassau, the Bahamian capital, U.S. Coast Guard spokesman Dana Warr said.
The cruise ship arrived early today to Broward County’s Port Everglades, where Coast Guard officials conducted an onboard investigation, the Coast Guard said.
The ship’s crew filed a missing person’s report with the Coast Guard after a search of the vessel turned up no sign of Begora, Warr said.
Jill Begora is believed to have fallen over board as after a full search of the ship provided no evidence in her disappearance.
”They did a full ship search and there was no evidence that she had left the ship in Nassau,” leading authorities to believe she may have fallen overboard, Warr said.
A Coast Guard C-130 plane was conducting an overhead search about 25 miles northeast of Nassau, the area where the ship was when Begora was first reported missing, Warr said.
According to CBC News, U.S. Coast Guard and Bahamian naval boats have called off a search for Jill Begora.

This disappearance comes off the much publicized missing groom cruise ship missing persons case where George Allen Smith IV disappeared aboard Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas.

12-year-old Teketria Buggs is still missing as searches have come up empty in recent days. It is reported that the sheriff will be withdrawing his deputies at this time due to lack of leads. Its appears that future searches will be left up to volunteers to continue.
However, Sheriff Milton Wright reportedly is withdrawing deputies from the search because the manpower is needed elsewhere.
That leaves the search for the missing girl in the hands of volunteers, led by non-profit search-and-rescue members of EquuSearch Texas, members of the Orchard Volunteer Fire Department and residents of the community.
Due to these actions, Texas EquuSearch has put out a call to arms for volunteers to please help and search for the missing Teketria Buggs .
The development has prompted EquuSearch to ask for volunteers to help search beginning Saturday morning. Especially needed are people with horses and four-wheel-drive vehicles, said EquuSearch spokeswoman Barbara Gibson of Houston.
Anyone who can help comb the rural area is urged to “bundle up really good” against the weather and meet at the Orchard Volunteer Fire Department, a block east of State Highway 36 in Orchard, Gibson said. Searchers have assembled at 8 each weekday morning, but Gibson was unsure if the search will begin that early on Saturday.
“The volunteer fire department has really put in the hours,” she said. “Those are some incredible people right there.”

A tip led authorities to expand their search to include a home near where Teketria Buggs’ home is.
There have been no leads and no clues about what happened to the young girl. Each day, searchers return from the field without finding anything, but still with hope.
“If it was our baby, we’d be out there searching. I’d be out there searching. I wouldn’t stop. I couldn’t stop, you know?” said searcher Jaime Schumann.
Although they won’t talk about it, several investigators are again searching the neighboring home.

Authorities are calling off their search for the missing Ft. Bend County girl, 12-year-old Teketria Buggs . They’ve been looking for the 12-year-old Teketria Buggs of Orchard, who was last seen late Friday night.
A dive team with the Texas Department of Public Safety spent much of Friday in the water of the Brazos River — one of two locations where cadaver dogs picked up some sort of scent earlier this week.
“You will probably find something,” said Ft. Bend County Sheriff Milton Wright. “It won’t necessarily be a human body, but there will be something there.”
But on Friday, they didn’t find anything. Teketria was last seen alive a week ago Friday just a few miles from the river in a home in Orchard. She left behind her cell phone and purse.
With no new leads authorities stated that they will not be able to use their resources to search for Teketria.
So with no new leads, Sheriff Wright says his deputies will no longer be used in the physical search for Teketria. That will be left now to Equusearch and its volunteers.
“Basically, our backs are up against the wall,” said Darryl Phillips with Equusearch.

According to reports from KOIN, a boat has been seized in the search for the disappearance of the missing 10 year old girl, Adre-Anna Jackson. 
An FBI dive team with sonar has been searching nearby American Lake. Thursday, police seized a small boat with an outboard motor that was found on the other side of the lake.
Farrar said it may not be related, but investigators are looking at everything. They’re also checking a trash bin for possible evidence.
A small 15-foot boat with an outboard motor is being investigated by police. The small boat was tied up across the lake at Northlake Park at a public pier for the past few days. No one has come to claim it. Police are being cautious in calling this a break in the case, a case that has had few leads.

A body was found in an abandoned home of what are believed to be of missing chiropractor, Dr. Melinda Superville. She had been missing for a week and was 
found on Friday by volunteer searchers of Texas Equusearch.
Texas EquuSearch said volunteers found the body believed to be Dr. Melinda Superville in an abandoned home in the 2100 block of Antoine, about 100 yards north of her office, Friday afternoon.
The body matched Superville’s description.
Houston police were sent to the scene to investigate

Melinda Superville, 43, was last seen Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. leaving the chiropractic office she shares with her husband, Dr. Thomas Superville. According to Houston police, “The body is in a back bedroom laying on the floor”. There is a wound to the body about the head, but I can’t tell specifically where or from what.”
A $10,000 reward was offered in the case. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS.

Body found near where doctor disappeared
“I’m glad that we found her because we needed the closure for her family,” said family friend Susan Haass. “I can’t describe how I feel about her being found like this. It’s worst case scenario. We’ve probably all had a feeling because it’s been a week.”
On Friday, her brother refused to talk to reporters and her husband did not come to the scene. At the moment, police aren’t confirming the body is that of Dr. Superville, although they say it appears to be her.
