13 year old Brittnee Plant has been missing from Mesa, AZ since November 21, 2007. Brittnee is believed to be with an individual named Chris according to her mother. Britnee Plant called her mother once on November 26; however, hung up before her mother could ask any questions. Brittnee Plant may be with a 19-year-old man she met at a shopping mall
The teen, Brittnee Plant, has been the subject of a desperate search since she vanished Nov. 20 from her home. Although it appears Brittnee ran away during the night with an adult male identified only as “Chris,” her family and authorities fear that she is in danger and being held against her will.
Brittnee’s friends have told authorities that “Chris” had been trying to convince Brittnee to run away with him for some time. Police have no other leads on the identity of “Chris” or Brittnee’s whereabouts and are asking the public for help in finding the young girl.
Brittnee Plant
She is described as 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.
She was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans with writing on them, black and red shoes, and a necklace with a heart pendant
Anyone with any information on Brittnee Plant to call Mesa police at (480) 644 – 2211.
Mesa teen’s disappearance a mystery
“She said, ‘Hey, Mom, I’m calling to say I love you guys,’?” Stephens said.
But then she hung up the phone. Stephens said she thinks someone walked into the room as her daughter was calling, prompting the girl to end the conversation abruptly. And since she hasn’t heard from her daughter at all for more than a week, she is especially worried.
“It’s just not in her character. She’s a normal teenager,” Stephens said. “She’s a good girl, and I know that she would continue to call or at least let us know she was OK.”
Police and Stephens said the girl was having “teenage” problems before she disappeared.
Police said Brittnee might be with a man named Chris, but they don’t have any other information on him. Stephens said Chris is homeless and has tried to lure her daughter away before.
Police ask for help finding Mesa girl, missing two weeks
UPDATE I: Girl, 13, missing 2 weeks found at Mexico border
A 13-year-old girl missing for more than two weeks has been found on the Arizona-Mexico border.

Police said Lisa Stevens, Brittnee’s mother, contacted the department Nov. 20 when she discovered the girl missing from their Mesa home. Stevens told police she last saw Brittnee the night before.

Emily Sander, 18, is last seen leaving the Retreat bar in El Dorado with Israel Mireles on Friday, November 23, 2007. She has not been seen nor heard from since. Her car was found the following day at the Retreat, a bar east of El Dorado.
The search for answers in the disappearance of Emily Sander, a Butler Community College student, led authorities to Room 21 of the El Dorado Motel, where a manager reported an altercation may have occurred.
Authorities will not release details of the evidence they found Saturday in that room, but said they believe Emily Sander was the victim of violence.
Sander, 18, was last seen Friday at the Retreat, a bar east of El Dorado, leaving with Israel Mireles, 24. Her car was found the following day at the bar.
El Dorado Police Chief Tom Boren said Mireles is the last person known to be seen with Sander.
Emily Sander case timeline
UPDATE I: Friend: Missing Kansas Student Led Double Life as Internet Porn Star
This case was just thrown a bizarre curve ball. It appears that the missing Emily Sanders may also be an internet porn star named Zoey Zane.
A missing Kansas college student believed to be the victim of foul play apparently led a double life as an Internet porn star by the name of Zoey Zane.
Nude photos of 18-year-old Emily Sander appeared on a Zoey Zane Web site before she vanished, and investigators are looking into whether her modeling had anything to do with her disappearance last Friday.
“She enjoyed it. She is a young teenage girl and she wanted to be in the movies and enjoyed movies. She needed the extra money,” Nikki Watson, a close friend of Sander’s at Butler Community College, told The Associated Press on Wednesday. “Nobody in El Dorado knew besides her close friends.”
Sander’s brother, Jacob Sander, confirmed that the nude woman pictured on the site is his sister.
El Dorado Police Chief Tom Boren said FBI and state experts on Internet crime have been called in.
“Investigators are aware that Miss Sander was apparently involved in a Web site situation,” he said. “Allegations that this may factor into her disappearance are being thoroughly investigated.”
Sander was last seen leaving a bar in El Dorado, about 30 miles from Wichita, with a man identified as Israel Mireles, 24, authorities said. Sander and Mireles had met that night at the bar, according to Watson.
UPDATE II: Body of secret porn star found in Kansas
Authorities said the preliminary physical description of the body found about 50 miles east of El Dorado matches that of missing college student Emily Sander. Investigators refused to give details about the state of the body or how it was found.

Do police have Drew Peterson over a barrel?
There appears to be a new development and potential evidence in the case of missing Stacy Peterson. At the focus of the development is a large blue barrel that was removed from the home of Drew Peterson with the help of a mystery person. Police have stated that the barrel was large enough to put an individual in.
There is a new development in the search for Stacy Peterson – Illinois State Police have identified who they think may have helped Drew Peterson move a large blue barrel out of his house – a barrel which is now considered a key piece of evidence. Now searchers are looking for that barrel – along with Stacy. Fox News Chicago Reporter Craig Wall is covering the story in Bolingbrook . (Fox-Chicago)
Peterson kin: I didn’t help move barrel
The tightlipped law has kept a lid on a neighbor’s report of Drew Peterson allegedly loading a large barrel into the back of his Denali soon after his wife vanished, but the former cop’s brother says he didn’t lend a hand.
“I don’t know anything about it,” said Paul Peterson, the brother of recently retired police Sgt. Drew Peterson, when asked about reports of a neighbor telling police that Drew and another man hauled a mysterious blue barrel from his residence to his Denali.
Pressed about the barrel and whether he helped his brother carry it, Paul Peterson said, “No, no,” and retreated to the Pheasant Chase Court home of Drew and missing wife Stacy Peterson.
Cops ask: What was in the barrel, Drew?
2ND MAN SOUGHT | Sources say neighbor told police he saw Drew Peterson and someone else loading barrel ‘big enough to put someone in’ into former cop’s SUV
A neighbor of Drew Peterson told police he spotted the former Bolingbrook police sergeant and a second man loading a large blue barrel into Peterson’s sport utility vehicle hours after his young wife was last seen alive, sources said.
The identity of the second man isn’t known, a pair of police sources said. “That’s who we’re looking for,” one of the sources said.
UPDATE I: Police Identify Person Believed to Have Helped Ex-Cop Drew Peterson Move Large Barrel
Illinois State police have identified the person they think may have helped former police sergeant Drew Peterson move a large blue barrel from his bedroom to his vehicle the day after his 23-year-old wife was reported missing.
A law enforcement source tells WFLD FOX Chicago that the man who helped load a barrel into Peterson’s SUV tried to commit suicide the next day.
Illinois State Police told FOX News on Sunday that “new information” prompted its appeal for more information about possible sightings of the cars that belong to Stacy Peterson or her husband, Drew, around the time that the woman vanished.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicles on Oct. 28 or 29 — the time of the 23-year-old Bolingbrook mother’s disappearance — to come forward.
Police have released photos of the vehicles: A dark Blue 2005 GMC Yukon Denali belonging to Drew and the second a purple 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, belonging to Stacy, and asked the public to call its tipline at 815-740-0678 or “America’s Most Wanted” at 800-274-6388.
Both vehicles were impounded by police on Nov. 1, and are still in police possession because of search warrant seizures.
UPDATE II: Drew’s relative attempted suicide, source says
Drew Peterson’s relative said to be distraught over Stacy’s disappearance
UPDATE III: Police: Truckers say Peterson sought aid
The information in the case of missing Stacy Peterson seems to get stranger and stranger. First there was a report of a blue barrel that was removed from the Peteson home, now two truckers have come forward stating that they were asked to “transport a package to an undisclosed location.”
CHICAGO – Two truckers said a former police officer suspected in his wife’s disappearance may have asked them early on the day she was reported missing to carry a package for him, police said Saturday.
The truckers said two men, including a man they now believe was former Bolingbrook police officer Drew Peterson and another man in his 50s with salt-and-pepper hair and stocky build, approached them at about 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 29 at a Bolingbrook truck stop, Illinois State Trooper Mark Dorencz said in a written statement.
The men asked the truckers to “transport a package to an undisclosed location;” after reaching the location, the men would “regain possession of the package and continue transporting it to a location not accessible by semi-trailers,” the statement said. (Yahoo News)

Why does one missing woman get all the attention while another woman’s story becomes a buried headline? Jackson, Miss., Police Chief Malcolm McMillin, who has been heading a search over the past eight days for 20-year-old Latasha Norman, thinks he knows one reason why. “As far as the interest by the national media in the story, I think race probably had an impact,” the police chief said.
Family Confident Missing JSU Student Is Alive The search continues tonight for the missing Jackson state student

Authorities are investigating the disappearance of three grandchildren of Southern California Rep. Gary Miller. The disappearance appears to be related to a custody dispute.
The children were reported missing about 1:30 p.m Monday from their Diamond Bar residence east of Los Angeles, sheriff’s officials said.
“We are looking into the disappearance of the children,” sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told The Associated Press.
Investigators were looking into whether the children were taken by their “non-custodial mother,” said sheriff’s spokeswoman Deputy Aura Sierra, referring to a parent without custody rights.
The children’s parents are divorced and appeared to be in a custody battle, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported on it Web site.
