Police are searching for 27-year-old Jason Iannazzi of Watertown, MA 14-year-old Cheynne DeCicco of Brea, CA. Her parents reported her missing earlier this month. Where did they meet? The Internet of course.
They met in an Internet chat room in September where Iannazzi originally posed a person much closer in age to DeCicco. Cheynne DeCiccohas been missing from CA since December 5.
“We are very concerned. We have a 27-year-old male from Watertown that met this girl from California, 14 years old, sometime in September. They had a meeting out in California in October. Now we have learned that she has been missing since Dec. 5,” Watertown Police Chief Edward Deveau said.
Iannazzi, who is unemployed, lives with his parents on Everett Avenue in Watertown. Police think the couple has traveled across the country together back to Massachusetts. “We have reason to believe that they are in the greater Boston area and probably staying in a low-priced hotel,” Deveau said.
The parents seemed to have been unaware as to what was going on, however, DeCicco’s friends knew she was meeting someone. Police believe the couple is in the greater Boston area. Video Available.
“I don’t believe her parents were aware. Her friends out in California were aware that she was meeting somebody. From when they first met, we don’t think she knew how old he was,” Deveau said.
A warrant has been issued for Iannazzi’s arrest for unspecified crimes in California. Anyone who has seen the couple is asked to call Watertown police.

Authorities have dropped the weapons possession charge against Ben Fawley; however, he remain in jail on 16 child-pornography charges that police say are unrelated to Behl’s disappearance.
Authorities have dropped the weapons charge against Ben Fawley, the main suspect in the death of Virginia Commonwealth University freshman Taylor Marie Behl. Fawley was to have appeared in Richmond Circuit Court today on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon. Prosecutors recently decided not to go ahead with that case.

The Taylor Behl Task Force Monday released photos of a pond, obtained in the investigation, and is seeking public assistance in determining its location. They are requesting your help in determining the location of this picture.
Photos and the request for public assistance were initially sent primarily to news media in the Virginia tidewater area on the presumption that the pond is likely located in that part of Virginia, according to authorities. Other news media, however, have picked up on the information in the highly-publicized case.
The Task Force did not identify the source of the pond photos. Attorney General’s Office investigator, Les Lauziere, when queried Monday by the Vienna Times, would not say whether the photos were taken from a computer belonging to Ben Fawley, “a person of interest” in the case, currently being held by Richmond police on unrelated child pornography charges.
UPDATE: AP: Pond identified as Behl murder investigation continues
Police looking into the death of college student Taylor Behl say they have identified and located a pond shown in two photographs that are part of their investigation.
Sergeant D.S. Carr with the Virginia State Police said in an e-mail to reporters Monday that the pond has been identified located in an area adjacent to Mathews County , but he cannot say anything else about it because of a judge’s gag order in the case.
Other agencies on the task force include the state attorney general’s office, the FBI, and the Richmond and VCU police departments.
Anyone with information should call police at (877) 244-HELP or (804) 828-1196.
Richmond Times Dispatch: Behl investigators want help
Authorities hoping public can lead them to photographed pond
Two photos of a pond believed to be in Mathews County could prove to be little more than a fishing expedition in the hunt for evidence in the death of Virginia Commonwealth University student Taylor Behl. Sources close to the investigation said Behl task force members gathering evidence on the Vienna teen’s death in September — allegedly during a sexual encounter in Mathews with suspect Benjamin Fawley — have no direct evidence suggesting that the pond is linked to Behl’s death.
Still, the sources said investigators want to know where the pond is because it is one of the few places photographed by Fawley that they have not been able to identify and search in the three months since Behl was last seen alive.

According to The New York Post, the relationship of Kara Beth Borden and David Ludwig was a bit more than on line chatting. They are claiming that the two were sending photos of each other on-line to each other. Although this may have taken place it in no way determines that Kara Beth Border was anything more than a victim in a kidnapping after her parents were murdered rather than an accomplice as some claim.
One state trooper described Kara as running from Ludwig’s car crying and frantic — not the likely actions of a co-conspirator. The investigation will consider information from Kara’s siblings and a review of her e-mails, instant messages, and interviews of her friends who might know of her relationship with Ludwig. Ludwig will of course be interviewed and eventually returned to Pennsylvania to face murder charges. What role, if any, Kara Borden played in this horrific crime has yet to be determined.
November 16, 2005 — They were two home-schooled Christian teens desperate to keep secret a steamy love affair that included swapping nude photos of each other over the computer.
Kara Beth Borden, 14, and her illicit 18-year-old lover, David Ludwig, were so desperate, cops say, that Ludwig killed Borden’s parents after they objected to her increasingly serious relationship with him.
Before the grisly slayings, Borden stubbornly ignored warnings from a close pal that her beau could go to jail for statutory rape if anyone found out.
Ludwig’s close friend, Samuel Lohr, 19, said in the affidavit that the pair were having “a secret, intimate relationship of a sexual nature.”
“They exchanged inappropriate images of one another via the electronic media — computers and cellphones,” Lohr told police.
According to report Jeffries made a comment in a conversation on Kara’s Web site on xanga.com, a site popular with teens.
“You’re 14, he’s 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Jeffries wrote.

According to the AP David G. Ludwig, who allegedly killed Michael F. and Cathryn Lee Borden, and Kara Beth Borden spotted at Pennsylvania truck stop Monday morning, but were not caught.
LITITZ, Pa. – A missing 14-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man who allegedly murdered her parents were spotted at a central Pennsylvania truck stop Monday morning, but were not caught, police said.
A worker at the truck stop told The Associated Press the girl appeared to have been crying.
From the reports by witnesses who positively identified Kara Beth Borden at the truck stop; it appeared that Kara Beth Borden had been crying which could show the danger that she may be in. She may have taken against her will rather than as some have speculated that she may be a willing participant in running off with David G. Ludwig.
Lititz Police Chief William Seace said Monday afternoon that Ludwig and Kara Beth, who is believed to be Ludwig’s girlfriend, had been “positively identified” at a truck stop in Lamar, about 90 miles from the Borden home.
Amanda Workman, the shift manager at the Subway sandwich shop at the truck stop, said she sold the couple an Italian sub at about 9 a.m. Monday, and thought they matched a radio description she had heard earlier.
“Her face was all puffy, her eyes were puffy,” Workman told The Associated Press. “You could tell she was crying.”
She said they paid cash and had apparently made another purchase from a different part of the truck stop.
“They were really shady. They didn’t want to talk a lot. They just ordered their sandwich and left,” Workman said.
Borden had her hair in a ponytail and appeared to be crying, Seace said. Ludwig has cut his hair to a length of about one inch, he said.
