Right after accused murderer of Olamide Adeyooye, Maurice Wallace, spit on the court room floor, he told Judge Scott Drazewski he wanted to be tried on all his cases as soon as possible.
Upset with his attorney and acting belligerent, accused killer Maurice Wallace today demanded that a McLean County judge give him a speedy trial on charges that he murdered Illinois State University Olamide Adeyooye.
Wallace, 27, walked into the courtroom and spit on the floor moments before he told Judge Scott Drazewski he wanted to be tried on all his cases as soon as possible.
The judge and bailiffs reacted as if they didn’t see what Wallace had done, but courtroom spectators let out a collective gasp.
Maurice Wallace’s comments:
“We ain’t got nothing to talk about. What do we have to talk about?” Wallace said gesturing toward Smith. He then looked back to Drazewski and said, “My request is that all these matters go to trial ASAP. I want a speedy trial.”

Family and friends paid their final respects to Marilyn Bethell. Marilyn Bethell had been missing for nearly two months until she was found the day after Christmas.
About 100 mourners gathered today at a Glen Ellyn church for the funeral of Marilyn Bethell, a woman missing nearly two months before her body was found the day after Christmas along a trail in rural Kane County.
Bethell, 47, was memorialized during an hour-long service at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 490 S. Park Blvd. Police have said Bethell died of blunt trauma to the head and declared her death a homicide.
Not going into any detail as to her demise, Reverend Ouper said the following:
Rev. John Ouper acknowledged family and friends probably had many questions about her death. He said those who loved Bethell should know also that she was with God now.
“We come with incredible questions and heavy hearts,” Ouper said. “We come here knowing that Marilyn is at home with God. She’s in heaven, rejoicing with her parents.”
Police have no suspects in custody for the woman’s death but have been looking for two men who were seen about a mile from her home October 31.

Skeletal remains that were found near the Buffalo Springs Lake entrance last Thursday are determined to be no match for any missing persons cases in Lubbock, TX.
New developments in the investigation of human remains near Buffalo Springs Lake.
Lubbock Police tell NewsChannel 11 the remains do not match any of the missing adult cases in Lubbock.
The Lubbock Medical Examiners office is performing an autopsy to identify the remains and determine a cause of death.
Last week human remains were found near the rugged terrain by Buffalo Springs Lake. Investigators also found a human skull just feet away from today’s skeletal remains.
Crime scene tape marks the site on county road 835, just east of the Lake’s entrance. Friday, K-9 units from Amarillo, Texas Rangers, the DA’s office, and Lubbock Sheriff’s combed the area for clues, and their efforts have been successful.
The discovery of a human skull lead investigators to this area, where nearly 20 hours later, they found what could be the rest of the skeleton. “The body was found in proximity to where the skull had been discovered,” said Sheriff David Gutierrez.
LSO cannot speculate on the identity of the remains, but they have called the families of both missing girls, Joanna Rogers, and Jennifer Wilkerson. “We have several priority cases, the missing girls have been high all along. This is up on top and we are trying to get information as rapidly as possible,” said Sheriff Gutierrez.

Melinda Superville’s body was found by members of Texas EquuSearch on December 9 after being missing since December 2. She was found in an abandon house that was known to be frequented by the homeless. The abandoned house is located at 2111 Antoine, is located at the intersection of Antoine & Hammerly.
The house where Melinda was found in, 2111 Antoine
Back door that was already open, door off hinges
Melinda Superville was missing for one week before she was found in the back bedroom, seen below. In an abandoned home that was frequented by the homeless Melinda was found and at her side was an undischarged gun and pills. So we are supposed to assume that a suicide scene with pills and a gun was kept intact for one week in a home frequented by the homeless. That is remarkable that nothing was touched.
A “large quantity” of assorted pills was discovered at the scene, and physical evidence indicated that Superville, 43, had ingested a large number of them, Houston police Sgt. Nate McDuell said Saturday.
A pistol was also found at the scene, but it had not been fired, and there was no sign of physical trauma to the body, police reported Friday.
McDuell did not know whether a suicide note was found.
Back Bedroom where Melinda was found.
The Chiro clinic, Superville’s home and the abandoned house at 2111 Antoine are all in close proximately to one another. To walk from the office where the keys were found in the door to the abandon house where Melinda was found takes approximately 4 minutes and 15 seconds. The street is extremely busy with nonstop traffic and multiple businesses along the way. She was wearing a bright red sweatshirt in the middle of the day and no one saw her.
The office that the keys were left in the door
Here is an interesting thing that was noticed when approaching the abandoned house. The house she was found in, 2111 Antoine, is located at the intersection of Antoine & Hammerly. The front of the house, driveway, and both sides of it are clearly visible from this intersection. It would be extremely risky to drive a vehicle up this driveway especially in broad daylight to the secluded back entrance.
However, there is a more less noticeable way to get to the same location. If one stays on Harland heading towards & passing Hammerly & taking a right on Todd St. and came up the backside of the house she was found in 2111 Antoine by accessing a paved driveway that winds around to it (from Todd St). The houses immediately behind 2111 Antoine are also vacant and the houses along with a garage block anyone’s view should you need to park.

A shrimp boat crew discovered the wreckage of the missing Cessna 195Monday morning near the Saint Augustine inlet. Gary Tillman’s plane had gone down in December 18. It was the news that most did not want to hear, yet most expected. However, the closure was probably of some relief to the family.
The identities of two bodies pulled from a wreckage of a plane off of Vilano Beach could be positively identified.
A shrimp boat crew discovered the wreckage Monday morning near the Saint Augustine inlet.
Parts of the plane were tangled in their net as they dredged the sea. The two bodies are believed to be the pilot, Gary Tillman and his 16-year-old daughter, Hannah.
It was more than two weeks ago they left Craig Airfield with two other passengers headed for the Bahamas. One of those passengers survived, the other was rescued but later died.
Atlanta Journal Constitution; Bodies of missing Rome daughter, pilot found
The news spread quickly in Rome Monday and it was something people needed to hear but didn’t want to hear. The bodies of Gary Tillman and his 16-year-old daughter, Hannah, had been found in the cold, choppy Atlantic Ocean about a mile off Vilano Beach near St. Augustine.
A shrimp boat trawling in a secured area that was being searched by the U.S. Coast Guard snagged the wreckage of a Cessna 195 that crashed Dec. 18, sending divers into the area where they found both bodies within a few hours. Hannah was outside the plane while her father was still in the cockpit.
Monday it was confirmed. “It’s more or less a relief” that their bodies have been found, Morris Lively, a friend of the Tillman family since before Hannah was born, said Monday. “I wanted some closure. We all did. We just wanted to bring them home.”

Authorities confirmed today said that human remains found in a wooded area are those of a 47-year-old Aurora woman, Marilyn Bethell, who has been missing since October.
Kane County authorities said the badly decomposed body was that of Marilyn Bethell, who was last seen Oct. 30 when she left her job at a substance-abuse treatment center in Hoffman Estates.
Kane County Coroner Chuck West said an autopsy determined Bethell died of head trauma.
Who killed Bethell remained a mystery Wednesday because authorities said they had no leads in the case.

A badly decompossed body was found by hikers isn the rural area of unincorporated Kane County. The police are investigating the possibility that this is the body of Marilyn Bethell.
A decomposed body found Monday in rural unincorporated Kane County has police investigating the possibility that the body is that of an Aurora woman missing since October.
A hiker discovered the body about 5 p.m. along the Illinois Prairie Path between Savannah Drive and Kirk Road, said Dan Ferrelli, spokesman for the Aurora police, which initially responded to the call.
“Any time there is a body found and you have a missing person, we’re going to look into that, but it’s too early to tell.”
The body is thought to be that of Marilyn Bethell, who went missing on October 31 under suspicious circumstances.
On Monday, Bethell’s vehicle was heavily damaged in a high-speed crash less than a mile from her home.
Authorities — however — say Bethell wasn’t behind the wheel when her car smashed into a parked vehicle. Witnesses told police they saw a man with a gun get out of Bethell’s wrecked car and hop into another car with a second man also carrying a gun.
At this point according to authorities it is too early to determine who’s body was discovered.
Ramsey would not comment on any other details or evidence at the scene, nor would he speculate on how the person died.
Kane County Coroner Chuck West was called to the scene late Monday night and had no information as to when the results of an autopsy would be available.
The remains were found about two miles from Bethell’s home in the 2500 block of Quail Court. Aurora police have suspected foul play in her disappearance because of suspicious circumstances related to the case.
