An AMBER ALERT has been issued for 15 year old Jacqueline Mendoza in St 
Paul, Minnesota who was assaulted and forced into the suspect vehicle.
Authorities said Jacqueline Mendoza of St. Paul was assaulted by an unidentified 30-year-old Hispanic female and forced into a light blue four-door Chevy, from the 1990s, with license plate number MTH 303 or 303 MTH. The car was last seen traveling east on Concord Street in St. Paul toward Highway 52. (FOX News)

Amber Alert issued for abducted St. Paul girl, 15
UPDATE I: Amber Alert Canceled for 15 year old Minnesota Girl.
The Minnesota Crime Alert Network and the St. Paul Police Department canceled the Amber Alert Tuesday morning after the girl was found safe and a suspect taken into custody.
UPDATE I: Man charged in St. Paul Amber Alert case
A woman who was with a man when he allegedly grabbed his 15-year-old girlfriend off a St. Paul street later helped police find the couple, according to a criminal complaint filed today.
The Ramsey County attorney’s office charged David Guzman, 18, with false imprisonment in the case that triggered an Amber Alert. The girl, Jacqueline Mendoza, was found safely.
Police arrested Elizabeth Garcia, 28, on suspicion of kidnapping. She was released from the Ramsey County jail Tuesday pending further investigation.

Another case of a teacher-student inappropriate relationship with a a twist, throw in illegal immigration to the mix.
It started out as police hunted for a 25 year old teacher and her former student who were last seen on October 35, 2007. The parents of Fernando Rodriguez reported their son missing Saturday after he was last seen late Thursday.
Kelsey Peterson, a 25 year old sixth-grade math teacher and basketball coach at Lexington Middle School, was arrested in Mexico after fleeing with a 13 year old boy. Kelsey Peterson and the 13 year old boy are suspected of having a sexual relationship. An arrest warrant ad been issued Monday charging Peterson with kidnapping, child abuse, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Following the two being located, the 13-year-old boy, Fernando Rodriguez, was reported to be in the care of relatives in Mexico.
A female teacher was in FBI custody yesterday as federal and local prosecutors sought to determine how they would handle charges alleging that she ran away with a 13-year-old boy, taking him across the border into Mexico.

18 year old Lee Cutler has been missing since October 20, 2007 from Buffalo, IL 
when he was last seen Saturday morning when he dropped off a friend after a Friday night birthday party in his hometown.
“There was no precipitating event with family or with friends. Frankly we are all sort of flatfooted and shocked,” said family friend Daniel de Garzia, spokesman for the family.
The sheriff’s department found Cutler’s 2007 Toyota Corolla on Monday parked near a wayside on Highway 33 in the Town of Fairfield.
Investigators said that they have recovered a blanket and backpack belonging to the teen near the Baraboo River. They searched along the river on Tuesday.
Search For Ill. Teen Turns Up Pill Bottle, Letters
An empty pill bottle and letters to and from loved ones have been found by searchers looking for an Illinois teenager whose car was found parked in a highway rest area on Sunday night near the hiking country of the Baraboo bluffs.
Details about the letters were not disclosed, but Sauk County Sheriff Randy Stammen said in a news release that the bottle was for Advil PM, an over-the-counter pain reliever and sleeping aid.
Sheriff’s deputies in Sauk County, Wis., found Cutler’s 2007 Toyota Corolla off the road near a cornfield. The car was locked and unoccupied, according to police in Buffalo Grove, Ill., Cutler’s hometown some 170 miles away.

The items found by authorities were located about 300 yards downstream from 
where a backpack and blankets were discovered on Monday.
Wisconsin search teams found car keys and a wallet belonging to a missing Illinois teen in a pair of pants hanging from a branch in a river.
Lee Cutler, 18, of Buffalo Grove, Ill., was reported missing last weekend after attending a friend’s birthday party. Police started a search of the area near Baraboo River after his 2007 Toyota Corolla parked near a rest stop.
Search divers found a pair of tan slacks Friday with the keys belonging to the Corolla and wallet with Cutler’s identification on a partially submerged branch in the Baraboo River. A black leather belt was found on a nearby branch believed to belong to Cutler, according to a report issued by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.

A Buffalo Grove teenager missing since the weekend has a zest for life, said a family friend whose suburban home has been turned into a sort of command center for classmates monitoring the search.
“It’s not something you would lose and not go after,” said de Grazia, whose home in Long Grove has been hosting nightly gatherings of friends and peers who started a page on Facebook.com called “Let’s Find Lee.”
“These young men and women are tracking information, squashing rumors, getting information to police,” he said.

Once again we are presented with another case of a female teacher being charged with having sex with a student. 25 year old Holly Hatcher, a history teacher, volleyball and softball coach at 
Gallatin High School has been charged with 6 counts of statutory rape by an authority figure. Holly Hatcher has admitted to having an ongoing relationship with the student in her Nashville, TN home.
Court documents indicate that Hatcher, who lives in the Donelson area, and the teenager had sex in Gallatin and in Nashville. Police said the pair had sex on six occasions.
Police began investigating her after receiving information from Gallatin police.
On Thursday, Hatcher was released from the Sumner County Jail after posting a $15,000 bond for three counts of statutory rape. Her bond in Nashville was set at $6,000. (WTVF – News Channel 5)

Justin Johnson, 27, of Elkland, MO and Christopher Victor, 24, of Schertz, TX were last seen Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in their 6 foot blue and white kayaks. Their two Seabees’ kayaks found adrift 35 miles from island on Thursday.
Rescuers suspended their search Friday afternoon for two missing Navy sailors who disappeared while kayaking near the Channel Islands. Coast Guard officials said they had exhausted all possibility of finding survivors.
Justin Johnson, 27, of Elkland, Mo., and Christopher Victor, 24, of Schertz, Texas, were last seen Wednesday in two 6-foot, blue-and-white kayaks around San Nicolas Island, authorities said.
Two kayaks matching the description were found empty Thursday night about 35 miles southeast of the island, where the pair were stationed for the last two weeks. (LA Times)

Child predator, Donald Edward Lynch could run, but he could not hide. Donald 
Edward Lynch, a fugitive wanted in Tennessee on multiple counts of child rape and exploitation has been arrested in Mexico. Donald Edward Lynch faced 11 counts of rape of a child, 38 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and five counts of aggravated sexual battery.
Donald Edward Lynch had been on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations Most Wanted list for the numerous crimes committed against children. He is expected to be extradited to Tennessee.
BROWNSVILLE, Texas (AP) Donald Edward Lynch, 66, who has been profiled three times on the TV program “America’s Most Wanted,” was taken into custody by Mexican authorities in El Mesquital, The Brownsville Herald reported for a story in its Sunday editions.
Before being extradited across the border, Lynch claimed his real name was Reynaldo Price and denied the charges.
“It’s `cause I’m black,” he told reporters. “Tennessee is the most prejudiced state in the country.”
Lynch faces 11 counts of rape of a child, 38 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and five counts of aggravated sexual battery in Kingsport, Tenn.

An AMBER ALERT has been issued for 16 year old Kathleen Porter. Police believe that Porter was in contact with a 27 year old possible sex offender. She may be with this individual in the Pensacola, FL area. Kathleen Porter has been missing Saturday morning.

According to reports, Michael Devlin will plead guilty next week in the 
kidnapping, attempted murder and and sexual assault. The case of Michael Devlin, the unassuming former Pizza manager, is an amazing story of hiding in plain sight. The blessing to this plea deal is that neither boy, William “Ben” Ownby nor Shawn Hornbeck will have to relive in a court room what happened to them and Michael Devlin will be taken out of society and away from our children for most likely life. This is probably the best outcome when we consider what is best for Shawn and Ben and their futures.
Washington County prosecutor John Rupp said Michael Devlin will plead guilty to all charges there in the 2002 kidnapping of Shawn Hornbeck and will be sentenced Tuesday.
Devlin was arrested in January after police found Shawn and Ben Ownby at Devlin’s apartment in the St. Louis County town of Kirkwood.
Loyd Bailie, Ben’s uncle, told The Associated Press on Friday that the family had been briefed by prosecutors that Devlin will plead guilty next week in all four jurisdictions where he is charged: three Missouri counties and federal court. He said he did not know whether Devlin would plead guilty to all of the more than 80 felony charges against him, several of which carry life sentences. (Philadelphia Inquirer)
The bizarre case of Michel Devlin started in the case of the kidnapping of Ben Ownby only to later learn that Devlin was also responsible for the earlier kidnapping of Shawn Hornbeck. William Ownsby was kidnapped and an AMBER ALERT was issued for the missing 13 year old boy after a witness saw the boy pushed into a white pickup truck. When the miraculous news occurred that William “Ben” Ownby was found safe and alive, no one could have imagined at the time that Shawn Hornbeck, who had been missing since 2002, would be found as well. Michael Devlin had in fact kidnapped both boys and had been charged by police with kidnapping and numerous other sexual molestation charges. The multiple sodomy charges were too numerous to list. The guilty plea will take this heinous individual off the streets and away from our children for life.

An Amber Alert has been issued for missing 15 year old Alyssa Frank from Bartow, FL. Alyssa Frank is believed to be in the company of William Joe Mitchell. Law enforcement considers Mitchell a sex offender.

In 2002, authorities say, Mitchell was charged with lewd or lascivious battery on a victim between the ages of 12 and 15 years old. Detectives say he has no known connection with the girl’s family, but during the investigation it has been discovered that Mitchell and Alyssa have had several conversations. They now believe he traveled from Jacksonville to Polk County, and that the two are together.
UPDATE I: Missing Florida Girl Alyssa Frank Found, Suspect Still on the Loose
A teenage girl who ran away to rendezvous with a high-risk sex offender she met online was found safe at a store 400 miles from her home on Tuesday, while the search for the 46-year-old man continued, a sheriff said.
Authorities had issued an Amber Alert, blasting photographs of the two and a description of the suspect’s car across the state after the girl sneaked out of her home early Monday.
UPDATE II: Sex Offender William Joe Mitchell Arrested in Virginia
A sex offender accused of running off with a 15-year-old Florida girl has been arrested, police said Saturday. The girl was released at a Wal-Mart store earlier this week.
William Joe Mitchell, 46, was arrested by Virginia State Police at a gas station in Winchester, Va., according the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in central Florida. (ABC News)
