AMBER ALERT Issues for 3 Year Old Chesney Anne Gaskin in North Carolina

An AMBER ALERT has been issued for 3 year old Chesney Anne Gaskin after the 3 year olds mother, Danielle Star Simpson. abducted her from the grandparents home on East Darden Road in Faison, North Carolina. The grandparents have full custody of  Chesney Anne Gaskin.

An AMBER Alert has been issued in North Carolina after investigators say a mother abducted her three-year old daughter from her grandparents.

Chesney Anne Gaskin is missing according to the Sampson County, NC Sheriff’s Office. Chesney is described as a white girl, 2’6” tall, weighs 30 pounds and has shoulder-length, straight red hair. Chesney has blue eyes and was last seen wearing yellow pajamas.

The alleged suspect, Danielle Star Simpson is described as white, 5’5” and weighs 135 pounds. She was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and an army jacket. Simpson  is driving a gold 2001 Chevy Malibu with Washington license tag number 113 YAE. Also, weapons are believed to be in the vehicle.

UPDATE I: Angry Mom Abducted 3 Year Old Chesney Anne Gaskin

A deputy who called the mother’s cell phone shortly after the abduction said the woman was very angry and not in the right state of mind, officials said.

UPDATE I: Danielle Star Simpson Found in Aiken.

Danielle Star Simpson 24 is the abductor and has been taken into custody.

  2. I’m surprised that NC offered an Amber Alert. Or do they do this in cases where they fear the child is at risk? I know they didn’t issue Amber Alerts in several cases in recent years, including Tyler and Holly Quets back in 2006.
