Sex Offenders are Getting Younger and Younger
Sex offenses my minors have increased drastically since a new study came out and they are typically more violent in natures.
The number of children under 18 accused of forcible rape, violent and nonviolent sex offenses rose from 24,100 in 1985 to 33,800 in 2004, the AP’s analysis found.
Test! Test! Test!
It definitely appears to be a growing problem, but distinctions need to be made between offenses. The young guy that has been in the news lately is a good example of that. A 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl mutually messing around with each other should not land that kind in prison doing hard time for 10 years.

There has to be some form of dealing with these offenders. Chemical castration has been found not to work. Incarceration fails, even when treatment programs are offered. Maybe a big tatoo of an “SO” on their forehead (as per Scarlet letter) would help. That way al least we could at least protect ourselves.
