Joanna “Asha” Veil, 28, Missing San Francisco Pregnant Woman (Found Deceased)
Joanna “Asha” Veil has been missing since September 9, 2006. She was last seen leaving 
work from the Ben Lomond Market. Joanna Veil’s car was later found unoccupied about a quarter mile from her work near her home.
Veil has not been in contact with friends or family members since her disappearance, according to authorities. Police later found her unoccupied car about a quarter-mile from the market, located at 9440 Mill St.
Joanna Veil is 6 months pregnant.
Authorities said Veil has recently missed prearranged appointments and has not contacted friends or family members.
“The unusual circumstance of (Veil’s) disappearance and her late stage of pregnancy has given cause for concern,” the Sheriff’s Office stated, noting that Veil is known for being reliable.

The body of a pregnant Ben Lomond woman who was reported missing on Tuesday has been found, according to her former employer. Barbara Loessler, human resource director for the Ben Lomond Market, said Santa Cruz County sheriff’s detectives told employees Friday morning that they had found the body of Joanna “Asha” Veil, 28, on Thursday evening, Loessler said.
