Florida man, Fernando Pascual, gets 10 years for Human Sex Trafficking
Fernando Pascual, 22, of North Fort Meyers was sentenced to 10 years in prison for harboring a 13 year old Guatemalan girl as a sex slave and housekeeper. Also charged were Pascual, his sister, Matilde Pascual Andres, and Andres’ husband, Pascual Miguel Sebastian.
A U-S district judge sentenced 22-year-old Fernando Pascual Tuesday. As part of a plea deal, Pascual pleaded guilty in March to charges of sex trafficking and harboring an illegal immigrant for commercial gain. His sentence of ten years was in exchange for the victim not having to testify.
Pascual, his sister, Matilde Pascual Andres, and Andres’ husband, Pascual Miguel Sebastian, were charged in May 2005 with harboring a young girl in a Cape Coral home.
Prosecutors said the girl was bought in Guatemala and brought to Cape Coral, where she was raped, beaten and forced to work.

Thats all he got was 10 lousy years?!! This problem is becoming more prevelant and needs tougher penalties. I realize we can’t control the problem worldwide, HOWEVER, we CAN set harsher penalties here within the USA.
