A Manitowoc County judge has ruled that statements by Brendan Dassey should be allowed during his trial for the murder of Teresa Halbach.
Manitowoc County Circuit Court Judge Jerome L. Fox ruled that statements by the 16 year-old nephew of Steven Avery will be admissible during his trial. Dassey’s defense attorney, Len Kachinsky, had argued the the teen’s statements should not be allowed because they were coerced.
