Texas EquuSearch joins search for missing Georgia Tech student, Daniel J. Compton
On Friday Texas EquuSearch joined the effort to find the missing 21-year-old Georgia Tech student, Daniel J. Compton, from Houston. Daniel J. Compton has been missing for two weeks.
Tim Miller, EquuSearch director, traveled to Atlanta Friday morning with a team of volunteers and Compton’s father, Jim Compton, Continental Airlines’ marketing vice president.
Continental is among the group’s corporate sponsors.
Texas EquuSearch is in the process of coming up with a strategy to aid in the search for Daniel Compton. According to reports he was last seen at Moondogs, a bar located in Buckhead, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Friday morning, February 17.
“They’re reviewing the area where the boy was last seen and are coming up with a strategy needed for the search,” said Barbara Gibson of EquuSearch. “Continental Airlines has been instrumental in helping us in the past fly out to Aruba and other places to help families of missing persons. Now, it’s happened to one of their own.”
Other information:
The student’s cell phone and bank card have not recently been used. Daniel Compton may be driving a silver, four-door 1998 Honda Civic with Texas license plate C91-CKV.
