According to the AP via The Daily Comet, the body of a Summerfield High School teacher, Danny Waits, who had been missing since Oct. 28 was found Saturday in a pond on his property. His wife’s body was found in their nearby house.
“It is the body of Danny Waits and his wife apparently committed suicide,” said Trooper Doug Pierrelee, spokesman for state police Troop G, which is working with Claiborne and Bienville sheriff’s offices in the investigation.
Danny Waits, 57, was found about 4 p.m. His wife, Londa, was discovered about 45 minutes later.
