Missing Prosecutor’s Laptop Found in River
I saw this case about 2 months ago, and then it basically dropped off. So here is the latest a laptop was found in the river. I believe it is a work computer yet, they say this doesn’t seem to be related to his cases. I find that strange because a robbery would not end up with a hard drive removed and missing, and the rest of the computer in 4 feet of water in the river.

Monday, August 1, 2005; 12:04 PMBELLEFONTE, Pa. — A laptop computer that belonged to a county prosecutor who has been missing for more than three months was found in a river near the spot where his car was abandoned, police said Monday.
Two fishermen found the computer, which was missing its hard drive, on Saturday at the bottom of the Susquehanna River, Bellefonte police said. The fishermen turned it over to state police who determined it belonged to Centre County District Attorney Ray F. Gricar.
The computer’s hard drive had either fallen out or had been removed before it was thrown into the river, police said.
“It’s another piece to the puzzle but it doesn’t lead us anywhere,” Bellefonte Police Chief Duane Dixon told reporters.
