Around 3:00 pm, 12 hours after CART was activated, an anonymous Crimestoppers call gave the team the tip they needed.
“Anytime we have a substantial case like this, in an area like this, we’re always willing to offer a reward,” said Emerson.
While Emerson is pleased with Thursday’s end result, he sees room for improvement, specifically the way the team canvasses neighborhoods.
“We’re far from perfect. We learn each time how we can do this better,” said Emerson.
Sabrina Cobb is charged with interference with child custody, a third degree felony. For now, the baby is going to be placed into the Department of Children and Families’ care.
Jessie is 8 days old and his grandmother has custody, reading about the father, one would assume the mother is unfit as well. They have abducted little Jessie, who from details must have been premature. Please be on the look out in FLORIDA for this child.

Amber Alert Issued for 8 Day Old Florida Boy

The Lee County Sheriff’s Department and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the
Amber Alert after the child was abducted on Thursday morning.
Jessie Threatts, 8 days old. He’s a black male, 18 inches tall and 4 pounds. He has black eyes
and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, diaper, and white booties. The child
was last seen at the 4000 block of Greenwood avenue in Fort Myres, Florida.
There are two suspects in this abduction. The first is Sabrina Cobbs. She is a black female, 5
feet 2 inches tall, and 105 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. The second is Jessie
Threatts. He is a black male who is 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds with brown eyes and bald.
The vehicle in the abduction is a blue Lincoln with Florida tag number J39NSG.

Amber Alert issued for missing Fort Myers baby

FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) – Lee County officials say the two parents who reportedly abducted their week-old baby from his maternal grandmother may have been intoxicated.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Ileana LiMarzi says the baby was taken from the grandmother who had custody of baby Jessie.
The spokeswoman says the father, Jessie Threatts, is in custody and being questioned by investigators. Sheriff’s officials say the father was found in east Ft. Myers around 6:45 a-m eastern time. Officials also say he was arrested without incident, but the mother, Sabrina Cobbs, and baby are still missing.
There is an Amber Alert issued for the week-old baby. Officials say the parents both have extensive criminal histories so their son was taken from their custody.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Web site, Jessie Threatts has been arrested at least six times including a weapons charge last month. There is no information yet on the mother’s criminal history
Edward Martin went out to rent a car and disappeared. There are some reports that he was walking north on U-S Highway 83, and they checked Martin is described as five feet, six inches tall, weighs about 168 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. He wears glasses. He was wearing a light blue, flowered button-down shirt, tan pants and a green hat when he left his house Friday on foot.

Local authorities and volunteers are taking more action in the search for an 84-year-old Bismarck man who has been missing since Friday morning.
Edward “Pepper” Martin left his home on foot at 10 a.m. Friday to rent a car and never returned. Authorities, family members and volunteers have been searching for Martin since Saturday. Bismarck Police Lt. Dan Donlin said on Tuesday that police searched every room of the old Palace Arms Hotel with no sign of Martin.
Anyone who wants to volunteer to help search can meet at 8:30 this morning at the Kiwanis Park at the corner of Washington Street and Sweet Avenue.
Donlin said Tuesday’s search included the North Dakota Civil Air Patrol searching the area north of Bismarck to Underwood and back in a plane, and police, Bismarck Mounted Police and volunteers on horses searching the wooded area along the walking path along Riverwood Drive to Fox Island.
18-month-old Bryan Cervantes and 3-year-old Jennifer Cervantes, appeared to be unharmed and are in the custody of Mexican authorities.

EDMONTON (CP) – The husband of a pregnant woman missing for the last week the Edmonton man [BROUGHT IN FOR QUESTIONING, COULD ] faces second degree murder charge in death of pregnant wife Monday-Monkey EDIT, just one day after a search party he organized found a body.
A police source told The Canadian Press that Michael White was brought in for questioning Sunday night and now faces the murder charge.
However, official police channels would not confirm the information.
“Michael White is presently being interviewed by homicide investigators,” said police spokeswoman Lisa Lammi. “If he is charged, we will advise you of that fact. He hasn’t been arrested at this point.”

WVLT — The boy at the center of an Amber Alert over the weekend has been found dead.
According to the TBI, Charles Dillon Johnson was found dead in an area lake around 10:00 this morning by TWRA Search and Rescue in Watauga Lake. They do not suspect foul play.
An Amber Alert had been issued for Johnson after he went missing while hiking with his friends in the Shook Branch area of Watauga Lake near the Oliver Hollow and Highway 321 intersections.

CROMWELL, CT, United States (UPI) — Authorities in Turkey reportedly found blood in the cruise ship cabin of a Connecticut man, who has been missing from his Mediterranean honeymoon cruise.
Royal Caribbean officials earlier thought George Allen Smith IV, 26, may have fallen overboard last week after they spotted blood on an awning over a lifeboat, the New York Post reported.
Smith`s new wife, Jennifer Hagel, 25, told officials that he had not been in the cabin when she woke up July 5, and that she presumed he had gone out, the report said.
On Tuesday, authorities in Turkey said blood had also been found inside Smith`s cabin. Hagel was interviewed by Turkish authorities and allowed to return home to Cromwell, Conn., the cruise line said.
The couple was married in Newport, R.I. at the end of June and boarded the ship — Brilliance of the Seas — in Barcelona on June 29, the Post said.

CARTER COUNTY (WATE) — A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a six-year-old boy who is missing in Carter County.
Authorities say Charles Dillon Johnson, who goes by the name “Dillon,” was last seen Saturday hiking with friends in the Shook Branch area of Watauga Lake near the Oliver Hollow and Highway 321 intersections.
There is a report that a male and female, perhaps driving a gray or blue Dodge Durango with a Florida license plate, were seen talking to Dillon in that area.
Dillon was last seen wearing an orange Tennessee Vols shirt and orange sweatpants with no shoes.
Dillon is 4’0″ and weighs 50lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. He has silver caps on his front teeth.

Dogs and search and rescue crews combed the fields near Liana White’s Castle Downs home yesterday for signs of the pregnant woman, now missing five days.
Police searched her home for the second time today, but stressed it’s a routine part of any investigation into a missing person. A statement issued by the Edmonton Police Service said “it is logical that (police) would return to the last spot where she was seen.”
QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — An Amber Alert (search) was issued for two young children missing from their home where the bodies of their grandparents and an uncle were found slain, police said Monday.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said 18-month-old Brian Cervantes and his 3-year-old sister, Jennifer Cervantes, were believed to be with their father, Rodrigo Cervantes Zavala.
The grandparents and uncle found dead late Sunday were relatives of the children’s mother, who was not at home at the time of the slayings, investigators said.
Authorities did not immediately say how the three were killed or give other details. They described Cervantes Zavala, 34, as an “investigative lead” rather than a suspect.
