Richard Drouin, Jr., 38, Missing in Bath, ME
Richard Drouin, Jr. is missing after his boat carrying his father and friend capsized in Bath, ME. Richard Drouin, Sr., 68, and Phillip Stevens, 39, were pulled from the water following the boating accident; however, Drouin Jr remains missing. The search for the missing boater was hampered by the foul weather.
Richard Drouin, Jr., 38, remained missing after his boat, also carrying his father and a friend, capsized after hitting an above-the-waterline cable under the old Carleton Bridge in Bath about 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The men had just finished bringing a 36-foot boat in from a river mooring because of the pending bad weather when they had the accident, Joyce said.
They had just dropped off the 36-foot boat off in Bath and were headed back upriver in a 16-foot boat when they left the navigable channel to go under the bridge. (Kennebec Journal)
Search For Missing Boater Suspended
The Coast Guard says it will not resume its search for a man missing since Friday Night. The man went missing after three boaters fell into the Kennebec River, when their motorboat flipped over near the old Carleton Bridge about 6:30 PM. (WCSH6)
