17 year old Kevin Kwok has been missing since Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Toronto, Canada. He was last seen Saturday night around 9 p.m. in his home at 138 Bonis Ave., just south of the Tam O’Shanter Golf Course. Please note that Kevin also has autism. This just hit Google from The Star News in Toronto, Ontario. Also, Erik Lippman, 30, with autism, is still listed as missing in Santa Cruz, CA.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing autistic teen in Scarborough. Kevin Kwok, 17, was last seen Saturday night around 9 p.m. in his home at 138 Bonis Ave., just south of the Tam O’Shanter Golf Course. He is described as being about 5-foot-6, 130 pounds, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing an orange Adidas T-shirt and black shorts. Police are concerned for his safety as he requires medication.
Kevin’s mother, Ivy Ang, said her son has never wandered from home before.
She said he likes Facebook and tries to meet friends on the social networking website.
“He wants to meet friends,” Ang told CBC’s Kimberly Gale on Sunday morning. “But he doesn’t know how because he has poor social skills because he’s autistic. He might be following what people say. He might get into someone’s car.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 42 Division at 416-808-4200 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
