Oscar, Karla and Fernando Casanova Found in Mexico … Missing Since 2008
Missing since 2008, an AMBER ALERT has ended as Oscar, Karla and Fernando Casanova were found in Mexico safe. The three children had been missing since April 11, 2008 after their mother was found dead with a plastic bag over her head in her home.

The Chicago police announced Friday that Oscar, Karla and Fernando Casanova were placed under the custody of a family member after they were flown to the city from Mexico City.
They were missing since April 2008 after their mother, Sofia Garcia, 30, was found dead inside the closet of their home in the Northwest Side.
Police are still investigating the homicide case.
Their father, Benito Casanova, who had been named in an arrest warrant on child abduction charges, is not in custody.
