Two 27 year old snow boarders Michael George and Kyle Kerschen, both from Albuquerque, NM have been missing since Saturday, 1/5/08. There is still no sign of the missing snow boarders as search efforts continue. Recently tow other snow boarders, Adam Putnam and his fiancee Rachel Fehl who had been missing since Saturday were rescued in Sante FE, NM.
Mineral County Sheriff Fred Hosselkus asked anyone who may have seen the men before they disappeared to contact authorities. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Sandy Kroll said missing-person fliers were being distributed in surrounding communities, and skiers and others were asked to look for any sign of them.
Kroll said Hosselkus has not said how long the search would continue. The men’s families have asked authorities to keep looking.
UPDATE I: Hunt resumes for two Colorado snowboarders
CREEDE, Colo. (AP) — The Wolf Creek Ski Patrol and at least one helicopter resumed the search Friday for two snowboarders missing for nearly a week in the southwest Colorado mountains.
A third person was reported missing after an avalanche in southern Colorado.
Michael George and Kyle Kerschen were reported missing on Jan. 5 near the Wolf Creek ski resort about 170 miles southwest of Denver. Both are 27 and both are from Albuquerque
Their car was found in the ski area’s parking lot.

The bodies of two New Mexico men last seen snowboarding at Wolf Creek Ski Resort in January have been found.
On Monday, a helicopter found and removed the bodies of 27-year-olds Michael George and Kyle Kerschen, both of Albuquerque, Mineral County Sheriff Fred Hosselkus said in a statement.
“We’re thankful we found them and they were together,” said George’s mother, Laura George.

14 year old Aundr’a Zonda Green has been missing since Thursday, January 11, 2008. Prior to her disappearance, investigators state that Aundr’a Zonda Green had been communicating with a man claiming to be 20 years old through her MySpace page. Authorities do not know whether there is a connection; however, in past missing person cases MySpace pages have come into play

Baltimore County police are searching for a 14-year-old who has been missing since Thursday afternoon.
Aundr’a Zonda Green, of the 3400 block of Gaither Road, was last seen at home at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Around midnight, her family realized she was no longer there, police said. (Baltimore Sun)

29 year old Cayle Bywater was reported missing on New Year’s Eve. Her neighbor found her dog running loose near Bywater’s S. Milledge Ave. home. Cayle Bywater was last seen on Saturday and spoke with a family member that same day.

Police found her backdoor open. Her purse, wallet, keys, cell phone and car are all still at her residence.

UPDATE I: UGA student’s body found in Athens lake
Athens-Clarke County authorities have identified the body of a woman found in a lake Friday evening as that of UGA student Cayle Bywater, according to WSB-TV. Bywater’s body was discovered in Memorial Park, the same park where the 29-year-old woman was last seen Dec. 29.
Her body had been taken to the State Crime Lab in Decatur for an autopsy.
CAYLE BYWATER FOUND DEAD
The search for University graduate student Cayle Bywater came to a grim end Friday afternoon.
Divers from the Hall County Sheriff’s Department found Bywater’s body at 4:30 p.m. in a small lake in Memorial Park, almost two weeks after she was last seen.
It was a difficult end of two traumatic weeks for the Bywater family.
“We want everyone to know how bright and loving Cayle was,” said Bywater’s mother Valery during a news conference Friday night. “She touched everyone she met.”
