3 Year Old TN Girl Missing, Isabella Russell Believed Abducted By Non Custodial Mother Keiya Simmons
The Wayne County, TN Sheriff’s Department has issued a missing childs alert for three year old Isabella Calliope Russell. Authorities believe that Isabella’s non-custodial mother, 27 year old Keiya Simmons, took her on August 17, 2007. Police said Keiya Simmons may be traveling with two rented moving vans toward North Carolina. If anyone has seen either Isabella or Keiya please contact the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department at (931) 722-3613.
Isabella Russell’s description:
- white, 3 year old female
- blond hair
- hazel eyes
- 3’6″ tall
- weighing 50 pounds
- She reportedly has a scar on the left side of her rib cage that looks like a finger print.
Keiya Simmons description:
- white 27 year old female
- blonde hair
- green eyes
- 5’5″ tall
- weighs 110 pounds
- Simmons is a belly dancer and travels with a dancing troupe. Simmons also has numerous Turkish and Chinese writing tattoos on her body
- She was last seen driving a late 1980s or early 1990s blue-green Toyota station wagon.
this amber alert has been manipulated in the most cynical
fashion by a man who obsessively desires to have absolute control over the lives of both his ex girlfriend and his daughter.
tenessee state law has this to say:
the rightful custody of a mother as defined in § 36-2-303
36-2-303. Custody absent an order of custody. -
Absent an order of custody to the contrary, custody of a child born out of wedlock is with the mother.

she told him where she was going the whole time.
i find it repulsive that this manipulation would take even
one second of a persons attention away from all of the children who are genuinely feared missing,kidnapped or worse.
the question will eventually be how the waynes county police were coerced into issuing a custodial interference charge!
unless of course, no one asks.

well if the woman -mom- has jumped thru the right hoops what bother is the amber alert for her,-it IS for the childs safety-not about their relationship which you have put as the forfront -as a single mom of a 15 year old- who dated one guy when my son was 5,he treated my child as a pawn, dumped him no dates since then , what am i teaching my child!!! I am advocating for a 20 guy-17 girl -3 year child- its stupid,society has changed -its the children who are falling thru those very big cracks
