10 Year Old Samantha Williams Missing Since Thursday June 21 (UPDATE: Samantha Found Safe)
Police are searching for missing 10 year old Samantha Williams who appears to have wandered off from her parents camp site in Bath, NY.
The girl was at a park with her family in the Steuben County Town of Bath. Investigators say Samantha Williams wandered away from her family around six Thursday night.
Police brought in search dogs, but the dog lost her scent in the woods. So now, forest rangers, fire departments and police are doing all the searching. They’ve been rotating shifts every six hours to keep fresh and alert. As of Thursday night, police said they didn’t want the public’s help in the search. (9 SYR)
Chief David Rouse with the Bath Police Department tells WETM that Williams was wearing a purple shirt with the words “Mango Mania” on it. She also was wearing denim capri pants.
