Kendrick Jackson has been missing 1 year since April 7, 2006
Its has been a little over a year since 3 year old Kendrick Jackson went missing. There are still no answers as to what happened to Kendrick Jackson. Some one out there has to have seen something. If so, please contact the police.
Even though Kendrick’s family is holding out hope that the boy is alive, Houston police homicide investigator Edward Gonzalez said today the investigation has been classified as a homicide, because foul play is considered likely.
Gonzalez urged anyone with information about the year-old case to come forward. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
“There is someone out there who saw something,” Gonzalez said. “Maybe they fear retaliation, and that’s why they didn’t come forward.”
Kendrick was staying at the west Houston apartment of his father, Roderick Fountain, when he disappeared April 7, 2006. His father said the boy walked out of the apartment as he was doing laundry.
Thousands of volunteers searched for the boy. Houston police homicide investigator Roger Chappell said Fountain became a suspect because of “red flags” in his statements. (Houston Chronicle)
