32 year old Rebecca Klein Missing Since March 16, 2007 in Chicago, Illinois (Update: Found Deceased)

32 year old Rebecca Klein has been missing since Friday March 16 when she failed to show up for work. Her vehicle had been located about 1/2 block away from her home; however, she has not been seen or heard from.

Klein reportedly left for work early Friday morning but never showed up. Her work vehicle was later located about a half block away from her house. She has not been seen since.

Klein is 5’4″, 140 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing blue and gray sweats. (WLS-TV ABC)

The body of 32 year old missing Rebecca Klein was found in the trunk of a car in her garage. According to the initial autopsy reports, she died of suffocation; however, further tests are to be performed.

(CBS) VILLA PARK Police have found the body of a missing woman from Villa Park.

The Daily Herald reports that authorities found the body of Becky Klein, 32, in the trunk of a car in her garage over the weekend.

Detectives were questioning a close friend of Klein’s, but no charges had been filed against her as of Sunday night. Sources told the Daily Herald that Klein’s body was found in the trunk of the friend’s 1966 Ford Mustang.

The two are listed as co-registrants of the Mustang and a 2000 GMC truck, according to state motor vehicle registration records.

According to reports, the police are questioning the domestic partner of Rebecca Klein after her body was found in the trunk of a car over the weekend. It was the domestic partner that originally made the missing persons report.

Police are questioning the domestic partner of a Villa Park woman whose body was found inside the trunk of a car over the weekend, according to a published report.

Rebecca Klein, 32, was reported missing on Friday by her domestic partner.

The Daily Herald reported that the victim’s domestic partner of several years was being questioned Monday at the Villa Park Police Department. The woman has not been named as a suspect, and no charges have been filed. (NBC5)

UPDATE III: Prime suspect held in Villa Park slaying, Victim’s roommate in custody but not charged

The roommate of a slain Villa Park woman remained in custody late Monday, but prosecutors had not announced criminal charges against her.

Detectives focused on the woman as their prime suspect after finding Rebecca Klein’s body in their garage 24 hours after the roommate reported her missing, sources said. They described the two women’s relationship as a romantic one.

Authorities suspect Klein, 32, died of suffocation after being attacked between late Thursday and Saturday, when police discovered her body hidden in the trunk of a 1966 Ford Mustang. (Daily Herald)
