Jon Turner, a 22 year old special needs man, has been missing for four days. It is reported that he withdrew his life savings from the BankNorth branch Hannaford Supermarket about 5:30 pm in Drum Hill, MA. Description:
Turner is 6 feet tall, about 150 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt, gray dress pants and a red winter coat.
Incidents prior to disappearance:
Turner, 22, of 9 Leedburg St., in North Chelmsford, went to work at Vic’s Restaurant in Lowell on Thursday, but arrived hours late because bus routes had changed due to construction and was fired. He took a bus to Drum Hill, where he went to the BankNorth branch in Hannaford Supermarket about 5:30 p.m. and withdrew more than $500, everything in his bank account, police said. “That’s the last we’ve heard from him,” Bernier said. UPDATE: Missing Chelmsford man found at Lowell shelter
A 22-year-old special-needs man from Chelmsford who had been missing for more than three days was located at a Lowell homeless shelter late Sunday night after he called police to report an incident involving another resident there.
Police said Jon Turner, of 9 Leedburg St., North Chelmsford, was found at the shelter on Middlesex Street after he called police to report an altercation with another resident about 10:30 p.m., police said. Officers realized that he had been reported missing. (Lowell Sun)
