Missing Danville child, Pedro Gonzalez Cuesta, is Found Safe
Pedro Gonzalez Cuesta, 3, who had been missing since February 8 has been found unharmed. Santos Gonzalez Lopez, the childs father who was accused of taking him was arrested Wednesday morning, and Pedro was reunited with his mother.
Thanks to the efforts of the Lebanon Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Lopez, of Danville, was arrested Wednesday morning, and Pedro was reunited with his mother, Jeydy Cuesta, also of Danville, at the Lebanon Police Department.
“For the child to be back in the arms of his mother makes you feel like you’ve done your job well,” Lebanon Police Officer Jeffrey Waters said.
Danville Assistant Police Chief Tom Bustle said Danville officers responded to a domestic disturbance around midnight on Feb. 7. They learned then that Lopez had taken Pedro.
