Miriam Acevedo Missing Since Christmas Eve Found Deceased
Miriam Acevedo, the 36 year old pregnant woman who had been missing since Christmas Eve was found deceased. Her was found in a vacant, burned-out rowhouse.
The body of a pregnant woman was found in a burned-out rowhouse, and police are investigating the death as a homicide.
Miriam Acevedo, 36, of Cumru Township outside Reading, had been missing since Christmas Eve.
A man who saw her body Thursday night in the boarded-up house reported it to police about 6:30 p.m.
An autopsy was planned.
“The family told police she was going to meet a male acquittance at a bar”.
The police are calling it a suspicious death at this point, not a homicide.

WGAL 8: Pregnant Woman’s Body Found In Reading Apartment
The woman, Miriam Acevedo, 36, of Cumru Township, just outside of Reading, had been missing since Christmas Eve.
A man who saw her body Thursday night in the boarded-up house in the 600 block of Locust Street in Reading reported it to police about 6:30 p.m. An autopsy is planned.

The woman was pronounced dead about 10 by investigators from the Berks County coroner’s office, who were preparing to take the body to Lehigh Valley Hospital near Allentown for an autopsy.
Detectives and evidence technicians were searching the area.
Neighbors said people were working over the weekend at the house and at a neighboring house that also is boarded up.
The woman’s body was clothed and lying in the first-floor front room of the house, investigators said. Police said they do not know how she died.
We have not giving up hope to find out what really happen to our beloved Miriam mother of two. I made apromise at her coffin to get justice but it has been a year and still not a thing not one person arrested plenty questioned but none arrested.
