14 year old Julie Davis, a Mount Maunganui College student has been missing
since Wednesday, July 4, 20008 in New Zealand. Julie Davis is reportedly thought to have run of with 41 year old Craig Howard from Waingaro. Julie Davis went missing on July 4 after friends saw her walking along Topaz Drive in Papamoa at 3.45pm.
Missing Mount Maunganui schoolgirl Julie Davis was spotted at the Miranda Hot Springs near Thames on Wednesday with Waikato man Craig Howard. But police have not been able to track them since.
Detective Peter Sweeney, of Tauranga Police, said he had two phone calls overnight reporting possible sightings. But after a week, police had still not located Julie, 14, a Mount Maunganui College pupil, and Mr Howard, 41, from Waingaro.
Julie Davis was last seen wearing her school’s a red top and grey skirt. Mr Howard is understood to be driving a grey 1989 Subaru Legacy station wagon, registration UE 4661.
Man on the run with teen a ‘loner’
Mr Howard was the father of about seven children, some the same age as Miss Davis, and was believed to have been from Huntly, Mrs Singh said.
The couple were reluctant to comment on Mr Howard’s predicament. “We’re not his employers, we cannot give him advice.”
Other Waingaro residents said Mr Howard was a bit of a loner. Police say Mr Howard is a 41-year-old Maori, 175cm tall, of medium build with a slight lisp. He drives a grey 1989 Subaru Legacy station wagon, registration UE4661.
Police say the teenager’s family are concerned for her safety and have urged her or Mr Howard to contact police.

Craig Howard, also known as Andrew Kara, is Maori, 175cm tall and of medium build. He is believed to speak with a slight lisp and is known to drive a grey 1989 Subaru Legacy station wagon, registration UE4661. He is believed to be in the Coromandel, Waikato or Bay of Plenty area.

…Mount Maunganui College is equivalent to a regular High School. Not college as in University. And what 14 year old DOESNT have an agenda?
