I watched this story on primetime crime the other night as well and felt so sad for Denise Lee. This story disturbed me so much because this poor girl could have been saved so many times. I give her credit for trying to escape and for leaving her hair and ring in the car. I can’t believe he tried to say he was kidnapped too, what a joke. These guys need to either have the death penalty or put away for life without parole. I am praying for her soul, may she rest in peace.

omg i saw this on an episode of primetime crime last night and those police were so stupid by not sending someone to get her. that made me cry.:( rest in peace denise amber lee

I sit here just sobbing as I watch Denise’s story on primetime. I have never broken down and wept over an adult case before, because we get so desensitized. But hearing how HARD SHE FOUGHT, she tried so hard, she wanted so much to live, and the terror she felt is so real to me. I weep for her last hours because as a mother and a daughter I know what was last on her mind. I am too upset to continue. I wanted so much for to be alive at the end of the story. . .

such a sad, sad story. I just read it today at work and I can’t get Denise off my mind. What a terrible tragedy. I feel so bad for her kids. She must’ve been a great mother, wife, and daughter. Not to put daughter last (my apologies to the parents) but I’m certain her sons would have been blessed to have had the chance to know her. I have never responded to anything like this before but it has been on my mind, as well as my co-workers (since I’ve talked about it to them), since I read about it today. I have alot of questions and comments (as I’m sure you all do as well). But as I see, at the moment it is not to reflect on the suspect, but to reflect on what I have cone to see (read) what a great person Denise was. Sorry to have to use the past tense. Again, I can’t truly understand the hurt and anguish (and difficulties) you all must be going through but for what it is worth my prayers are solely yours for now. Please find peace in seeing those boys growing up knowing that you still have a peice of Denise. Obviously, I didn’t know her but I was just so touched by the story I had to write.
