Friend of Steven Avery saw Body Parts in Burn Pit

A witness has come forward in the Steven Aver murder case that states he saw body parts in a burn pit while helping clean up at the Avery family’s auto salvage yard. according to reports, the unidentified witness kept this information a secret because he states, Steven Avery threatened to kill him if she said anding.

A friend of Steven Avery has told authorities he saw body parts in a burn pit while helping clean up around the Avery family’s auto salvage yard in rural Manitowoc County the week freelance photographer Teresa Halbach was reported missing in early November.

The friend told investigators from the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin Department of Justice that he kept the discovery a secret until this week because Avery threatened to kill him if he told anyone what he had seen, according to two sources familiar with recent developments in the investigation.

According to Herald Times, relatives of the witness said Avery asked for help in cleaning up around the salvage yard property.

The young friend agreed to assist and was putting flammable materials in the pit at Avery’s request when he saw body parts.

According to the mother of the witness, Avery said: “If you say anything, what I did to her I’ll do the same to you.”

“That’s why it took him so long to bring it out, because he was afraid,” she said.

The witness had been questioned early in the investigation but denied any knowledge of the crime. Recently, he had been losing weight and had become more withdrawn, according to two of his relatives.

  1. It’s finally all coming out…they held a press conference tonight and will do so again tomorrow at 2. check out http://www.wbay.com or http://www.wfrv.com for details and/or to catch the press conference. The boy is said to have been a party to the crime, and charges will be filed tomorrow. He’ll be tried in adult court. The Avery property is being searched yet again. They seem as though they’ve finally been able to put all the pieces together as to what happened the night our friend Teresa disappeared. Those who knew her know Avery had to have had help. She had such a strong personality, and she wouldn’t have gone down without a fight! I’m glad the truth is finally getting out, because I’d hate to think anyone involved in this horrible crime could be walking around free, regardless of their age!

  2. The whole tribe needs further investigation. I am not from the area, but I hope the search of the Avery property includes looking for other missing women from the area.

In my opinion, family members always knew more than they admitted and should be charged as accomplices.

What ever happened to the mother of Steven’ nephew who criticized the police for asking her son what he did with the body. She shut up in a hurry and was never heard from after her first ranting about police brutality. Was this the 16 year old’s mother? Or is there another mother defending her son. Remember, we have two other missing women from that area.

  3. Yes, that’s the same mother. She did shut up pretty quickly, but then she piped in saying that Brendan is a “slow learner,” as if that’s supposed to excuse this kind of behavior. His friends and family are saying that Steven Avery must have forced Brendan to participate. And of course, that’s the angle they’ll use to try to protect him in court. As far as we’re concerned, he’s the reason we lost Teresa. He should have gone for help the second he heard “HELP ME!” coming from inside the trailer. THAT is what’s wrong with that family. Slow learner or not, a six year old knows what “HELP ME!” means, and certainly a SIXTEEN year old knows even better.

And I agree that the entire family is nasty. Most of them have histories of sexual assault or abuse or some kind. Whether they are involved or not, I don’t know. But I wouldn’t believe anything any of them say.
