Boyfriend last heard from her Monday night

Rob Allen, 32, of Margate, Kesse’s boyfriend of one year, told the Associated Press he spoke with her by phone about 10 p.m. Monday, when she said she was in bed and going to sleep.

When he did not receive a phone call or text message from her on Tuesday morning – her usual practice – he called and got her voice mail, Allen said. Later, her parents told him she had not arrived at work, he said.

“She’s not that kind of person, to just walk off. She’s very responsible,” Allen said.

Allen said that her cell phone and purse were missing from her apartment.
